An Italian restaurant recommended to me by my Italian teacher who lives in nearby Mirfield. The menu is mostly small dishes. We had 2 each, plus an Aperitivo at the beginning and coffee at the end. We also shared a dessert (a cannolo) at the end. We paid £140 in total, which I thought was quite a lot, but we enjoyed the food and also the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Food and atmosphere were great, felt like the staff were itching for us to leave, kept checking on us to see how far we were with the food. Other than that great night out

My friend and I came here for a mid week meal when looking for somewhere halfway between our homes. I'm glad we trusted the good reviews and tried it out. The service from the restaurant staff was cheerful and attentive, and the food and drinks were delicious. We ordered three dishes each and left feeling stuffed, but that might also be because we couldn't resist sharing a dessert - cannoli with pistachio ice cream 😋 Top notch ingredients, taste and service - we'll be back! ✨

Great place to eat. Staff are polite and friendly, very attentive. They are happy to explain the different dishes and know the wines very well. Food was really nice, just not enough for me for what you are paying. Would definitely go again, as the whole experience was great.

Absolutely beautiful food. Couldn't have asked for a nicer evening. Staff were so friendly, very helpful and made our evening better. Tapas was fantastic an portion sizes were the perfect size, we had so much. We will definitely be returning

Visited end of January, and we ordered tapas below are what we ordered Piquillo Peppers, Croquettes Di Patate, Hallouimi Cheese, Nduja, Scamorza & Pesto [Panzerottino] and Chicken Skewers and I can honestly say everything we got was absolutely beautiful! First time visiting and it will not be the last time

Hidden gem in Cleckheaton we stumbled on years ago! We are regulars at Tappinos now and it’s consistently a great meal out. Make sure you book to get a table. Not cheap as those tapas quickly add up but the food is excellent. What we love: - Unique dishes which are presented well - Great idea to serve Italian tapas allows you to try many dishes - Perfect for sharing Food recommendations: - Tartufo Nero pizza and grilled octopus are my favourites - Handmade ravioli which often appears as a special is a must try What could be improved: - More cocktail choices would be nice - Some of the food is overpriced for what you get - 1.5 hr table booking not long enough (should be 2 hours)

It was my first time at Tappinos and I was pleasantly surprised, it’s a cute local restaurant with a well thought out delicious menu, stunning wine, great service and the best music I’ve heard for a long time, we enjoyed every bite.

Love this place! Just wish it was nearer to home as we would practically live in it! We loved everything about it from the moment we walked in and were greeted with a warm and friendly grin. The Pizzetta Putignanese was so tasty (we opted for the black dough) and the Parmigiana Di Melanzane was among the best I've ever had! Simply divine! The wine (Montepulciano) was also delicious. The staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable. The furniture is largely made from wooden pallets (a nice piece of upcycling). And the upstairs space is lovely too with a little balcony when the weather is good enough. We will visit every time we're in the area (sadly that's not often enough)! Highly recommended!!

Tapas isn’t really my thing, but I spent an evening at Tappino’s with some friends recently and had a great time. Once we’d got to grips with the menu, with the help of a member of staff, we all really enjoyed our meals. Drinks choice was good too. The decor was cool and cosy, and staff were friendly.
