We have visited 3 times whilst our daughter was at University and cannot praise the place or staff enough.
First time was for our daughters 21st birthday, we took a large group and had pre booked. There was a lovely secluded table for us, the staff had put balloons and banners up which we hadn't asked for but was a nice touch. Superb food and good service and a great day price.
Second visit was a spur of the moment visit late at night, food was very slow but we were offered free drinks and deserts and was in no rush.
Final time was to celebrate graduation and 6 of us called in no booking. Same secluded table, was told 30 mins for food but it all arrived within 20 mins. Great service again and all staff wished my daughter congratulations on graduating. Another nice touch.

The staff here were absolutely fantastic! I was worried about trying to get breakfast while controlling a 1 year old alone but the staff made it a breeze, seating me so I could constantly see him while getting food and offering to bring me anything I needed.
Evening meal for my husband, son and myself was a little expensive but expect as with any 'motorway restaurant', but the service really did make up for this.
Highly recommend if you are staying in this area.

We had breakfast there this morning. The staff were brilliant, very friendly, welcoming and professional, nothing was too much for them, they were great. Would definitely go back again. My mum and twins loved it, it was my mum's first visit.
The staff have been fantastic today, I couldnt fault them at all. Food was delicious and thought I'd give the new mocktail a try. Very tasty 😋
Visited for lunch for the first time today. Very good and friendly welcome. Very good range in the menu and really excellent value for the meal deal. A very good range and choice in the wines, spirits and cocktails too. There was a wait to be served our food but, to be fair, they did appear to have two large parties in, which demonstrates how popular the restaurant is locally. When we received the food it was excellent. I had the chicken and mushroom pie, which was honestly the best that I have ever tasted. Superb pastry with a really tasty filling. Everything that a pie should be. But then again they have won awards for their pies and so I had high expectations which were definitely met and even exceeded! Unfortunately the main course was sufficient for lunch so we were unable to manage a dessert. They do have a good selection so hopefully next time. Excellent food, very nice staff and exceptionally good value prices. What’s not to like?

Staff were polite especially Kurt who was really helpful and pleasant he helped with the car reg parking system and showed us to our table.
Service was impeccable.

Always our go to place for a good breakfast, today we were a little late getting there, but was greeted by Kurt who was more than accommodating to us both, a superb breakfast as usual and Kurt and Scarlett bent over backwards for us today, very much appreciated guys.

Good food, staff was really nice. Couldn't fault it if I tried. Staff was really patient with my son who's a very fussy eater, made him 3 different types of eggs. Will definitely come back.
On the 9th or 10th of May 2023 we ordered a family vegan breakfast. It was a very well presented vegan breakfast and we received great customer service from our waitress Diane. Diane is a brilliant representative of Brewers Fayre. Very attentive to customers’ needs whether it’s checking if any of us have allergies or keeping us updated with an issue with our vegan order. Diane also checked to see if we were happy with our food. Customer service experiences can make or break a holiday. Due to the high level of service we received, we will be staying in the nearby hotel (Premier Inn) on our next visit.
Would absolutely give 10 stars if we could the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They met all our needs and more they went above and beyond after fitting us in at last minute due to being let down by somewhere else and as a family of 9 at gone 8pm with 2 fussy kids and a baby they were an AMAZING. We will definitely be back soon. Kim and Kurt were great and couldn’t have done any more for us, they were so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
