Friendly staff and quick service, quite busy given it was Tuesday but no shortage of places to sit and as it's quite a large building. Clean toilets! which is nice!...I now quite often drive past my local Spoonz to go here as I prefer here!

One of the better Whetherspoons I’ve experienced. A great atmosphere, with great staff, great food, and great prices.
When in Cleckheaton for training I’ve been here on many evenings for food and drinks. There’s always a good crowd in from all backgrounds.
The prices are weird such as £2.31 a pint etc, but just shows how low they try to keep them. Personally I’d rather they rounded them up so less coppers kicking about!
Food served quickly and also really competitively priced. I got the 3 plates for less than £15 and they’d definitely be enough to share. The spicy pizza was very good, as were the loaded fries, and the chicken strips. Literally couldn’t eat it all.
The front beer garden is also ideally located and great for sunsets.

Breakfast regulars. Staff are always courteous and friendly. Go above and beyond. Love the food. Keep returning. Only suggestion definately needs two drinks machines in working order otherwise its large cues. Also when replenishing these machines needs to ensure all elements are checked to restock at the same time to prevent constant hold ups for diners and staff in the midst of serving.

Called in for a coffee and a toilet stop. Toilets were very clean and well maintained. Coffee was £1.59 with free refills. I love the espresso machine in here it’s as good as you’ll get in the best coffee shops and far better than the big two (Costa packet & Staryucks). Have eaten here previously too, the food is great value and the service to your table is very quick and courteous.

I visit my local two or three times a week for breakfast and to catch up with mates. With the food you know what you're getting and it's fine, but the staff and the atmosphere are really good, it's warm, it's quiet so you're not having to shout and clean.
I personally think it's the best place in Cleckheaton.

The Obediah Brooke is our local Wetherspoons. We live in Cleckheaton and it’s alway our favourite place to come and eat good food and enjoy inexpensive drinks in a very nice place. The staff are always courteous and friendly. It has a good sized outside area and two storeys of tidy inside area. There’s plenty of free parking over the road next to the town hall.

This was my first visit to this particular Wetherspoons. It was cosy, warm, and welcoming. The range of drinks is great, with many traditional handpulled beers, stouts at very reasonable prices, and by far, cheaper than most local pubs. Unlimited free top ups on coffee etc. Needless to say, it was busy but didn't have to wait around to be served. It was like a community hub that obviously attracts many local people to meet up. We spent an hour or so there and arrived well before lunchtime. It was clean and all the staff were friendly. Food arrived and was hot and served on warm plates too.
I have always had a good experience at the Wetherspoons that I have visited, and this was a great example of somewhere to eat and drink cheaply, keep warm, chat, and enjoy some social time. Well deserved 5 stars.
Well done, Wetherspoons.

A typical good old spoons with a good selection of drinks and food. Good location

A much better Wetherspoon after its recent refurbishment and expansion, feels much more spacious and roomy. Cheap and cheerful food and drinks, pizzas are good, a reliable choice in Cleckheaton also a decent outdoor area.

Town centre Wetherspoons. A pleasant surprise, it seemed rather inviting on a busy dull main road with a small sun trapped square laid out with new chairs and tables outside. Pub was clean and friendly, fast service by nice staff.
Food turned up promptly and was very good. Comfortable place and enjoyable visit.

This Spoons can be quite busy. Overall it's ok, fast service and cheap prices. They could clean tables more often after customers leave, as there always seems to be sticky and dirty tables which I have to ask to be cleaned. Apart from that it's just what you expect from Wetherspoons.

Good food and beer, we sat out front in the sun. Lots and lots of tables inside, I particularly like the book case area. Walk down the street opposite, past the church and you'll find the old bridge, lake and ducks, nice place for a walk. Enjoy!

Nice little cosey style pub where you can chat or listen without having to shout and the food was nice and quick, hot and tasty

Lovely big place that has recently been renovated upstairs to provide extra dining space.Much colder upstairs than down but a nice place to get away from the main bar and seating areas. As with all Wetherspoons the food is very reasonably priced with lots of meals getting a free drink thrown in on some menu choices .The Christmas menu has just been introduced so if your looking for a change to the normal grub I'd recommend trying these items.Wheelchair friendly only downside is no car park.Highly recommended if your in the area!!!!
