Best curry place, highly recommend dining in here, never had a bad meal!

Lovely meal, 10 of us and everyone loved the food. Service was slow but the quality of the food made up for it.

We were unsure when we walked in to this place as there wasn't anybody else eating there. But the food was fantastic, best curry I have had in a very long time. Would highly recommend this place. I had the rogan josh.

Been here in 2002 and every time I come and visit still the usual restaurant for me. Yes faces has changed but not the taste and flavours.

By far one of the best central curryhouses in Grimsby / Cleethorpes that's close and accessible enough to both locals and for tourists for both dine in and delivery. For me, only second to its next door neighbour, Nawaabz (and that is purely for my favourite curry from there - the honey chicken - I suggest you try it!!).
Had a chicken masala last night (adventurous, I know) and by far the best masala I've ever had. The tomato wasn't overpowering like in many similar curries and was incredibly smooth. Paired with jasmine rice, it was beautiful. On top of this we had a peanut butter chicken curry - I'm not a fan of peanut dishes usually but this was the exception - a nice creamy butter curry and the peanut taste was flavourful without being 'too much' (i.e., it didn't take away from the other flavours).
Portion sizes were generous and the chips (fries) we got with it were cooked nicely and made for a nice dip in the curry (I know, I'm an uncouth savage, don't hate). Again, a generous portion.
Dishes here are very affordable and delivery is very cheap (£1!). My meal arrived within an hour and was piping hot.
They also offer dine-in and all you can eat for £16/head. Great value for a full course meal but again, portion sizes are generous. If it's just the two of you, you could eat well for less than £16 / each from the standard menu.
The minor, minor gripe was that the sauce in the masala could have been a tiny bit thicker but that isn't to say it was watery by any stretch of the imagination.
Well worth a try.

Seriously, this place is class. The atmosphere is awesome, the food even better and the service is 2nd to none. Went here for the first time tonight after ordering takeaway (was my families takeaway of choice before) a few times and the restaurant experience is just as good. Service was quick, staff attentive, food was great, and it wasn't mad expensive. Definitely a winner, probably the best Indian restaurant in town if we're being fair. Well worth a stop by.
