Rated 4 star by the AA but 5 star by my wife and I! We had a mid week break here, the second time we have stayed and we would like to go again. The room was well decorated and spotless with a Nespresso machine, small TV and a very comfy bed along with a lovely view across the reed beds towards the church. Good breakfast, the chef baked the bread fresh and it's something special. Dinner in the evening was excellent. We both loved the food and I'm hard to please when it comes to eating out. The staff were very attentive and the customer service was very good. A special mention for Faye who was charming and really knows how to make guests feel welcomed. Thank you. There are superb walks straight from the hotel which is also very dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Went a couple of weeks ago for midweek dinner and was very good so took friends there again last night and was equally enjoyable. Lovely food, reasonable prices and very nice service. Keep doing what you are doing. Well done.

Only dropped in for a few pints while out with family. Staff were very friendly and polite. Would like to single out Jack and Gabe from the front of house. Very friendly and both a credit to your team! Will definitely visit again when back in the area. Keep up the good work!

We had the best food in this pub during our long weekend stay over in Blakeney. All the food were cooked perfectly. We enjoyed it so much we went back again the very next day. Never expected to find such high standard meal over this part of town. Highly recommended. They are quite a few other highly rated restaurants over in Blakeney but I would recommend this one over at Cley next to Sea. Hats off to the chef. Even Tartar sauce for the fish made from scratch. I would have tried everything else on the menu if we have stay longer. Tried the following Smoked cod chowder soup - soo flavourful Crab on crumpet - Crab meat so fresh & well season Ham Hock Croquette with pea Veloute - Such inventive idea to put together pea and ham hock soup but with chunky ham hock croquette - Genius Fish and chips - Crispy chips, pea with mint tasted amazing and tartar sauce made in house Chocolate dessert - Amazing with fine dining standard presentation

Visited The George having stayed the night at Cley Windmill. Booked in advance. Great menu selection. The staff were very knowledgeable, polite and friendly. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. Fairly expensive but well worth the money. Delicious puddings. Would definitely recommend.

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch at the George and Dragon whilst staying nearby with a group of friends. Had to do a review as was 5 star in every way. All the food we had was amazing , the service was on point and lovely ambience with a gorgeous Xmas feel. So great to have a meal out with all of us commenting on how good it was. Well done to the George and Dragon.

Dropped in for an excellent late lunch on an icy mid-week vacation in the area. Sunny dining area was warm, calm and comfortable - well presented dishes - my moules frites (local Brancaster mussels) were delicious.

We stayed at the windmill but always come here for the quality of food and the service. This is a great find and make sure you eat outside in the beer garden if it a nice day
