Quite possibly the best quality, quantity, value, service, setting in Herefordshire. Will definitely be back.

We, my wife and I, were taken here for Sunday lunch. The restaurant was very clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The starters were very good just the right size, the carvery was not stinted on. There was a choice of 3 meats and you were asked if they had given you enough, which is unusual. The puddings were very nice as well, enough to finish off a nice meal.
I can definitely recommend the Castlefields for a family Sunday lunch.

Always the most fantastic food that you can rely on. Recently held a surprise party there with 70 guests for a carvery and band. Couldn't have been better

A wonderful, welcoming country pub. One of the best Sunday roasts we've ever had. Very reasonable, plentiful meat and food each veg and exceptional staff! Only just outside Hay on Wye we'd highly recommend.
