Fabulous Afternoon Tea with so much variety served by a friendly staff. They went the extra mile in every way. Lovely presentation and great atmosphere. Definitely passing this on... It's a wee local treasure.
One of the best afternoon teas I've had. This place was really comfortable with a great atmosphere. The staff were great. But the food was the best part, the sandwiches were fantastic and their cakes were excellent and the drinks were great. I highly recommend it.
Lovely little cafe with fantastic food! We arrived late last Sunday with no booking and they accommodated us- thank you! The Sunday roast was perfect. We will definitely be back.
This was our first visit to Cafe Twenty Eight today and we had the most amazing lunch. We had the Sunday Roast, the beef was the best I've tasted, melted in the mouth, the whole meal was delicious. The staff were very attentive. Will certainly be back. Would highly recommend this place. They also do tale away.

Off the beaten track a bit but a great experience. Tiny place with a great menu. Steak pie, sausage roll, lovely sandwiches. Quality coffee.

Amazing Sunday lunch here today. Food is excellent and made to order, with great desserts too. Staff are all so friendly and spend time with customers, making us feel so welcome. A perfect Cafe to meet friends. We will be back, again!
Popped in here today for a spot of lunch it was brilliant.I had brown bread sandwich of brisket and pickle with the best side salad I've had I a very long time,my partner had scrambled eggs with smoked bacon on brown toast,said it was best scrambled eggs ever.
Very busy for a mid week day,but I can see why .Service great,well definitely be back.👍
