A really nice greeting on arrival, a glass of water as you sit down, great coffee and cakes, fantastic toast from their homemade bread. Service was excellent and staff really friendly and helpful. Although not a massive menu it suited us, and we enjoyed it immensly. On the main street handy for the town centre itself. Prices, maybe a bit on the dear side for some but the quality was excellent

A welcoming cafe. Proper hot coffee, homemade soup and cheese scones. A compact interior containing visitors and locals. It is well worth a visit.

Fabulous staff and service. Wonderful hot chocolate and coffees. Went out of their way to get a gluten free option for one of our large party. Nothing was too much trouble. Extremely reasonable. Loved the pear jam !

Dropped in Wednesday a.m to kill half an hour before Wordsworth's House. Lovely ambience. Great background music and an interesting clientele. Staff personable, courteous and efficient. Love the Rubiks cube, 3D noughts and crosses etc Coffee superb and food looked great. Nice touch is a glass of water served with your coffee continental style. Will definitely return next time in Cockermouth.

If you’re desperate for high-street chain pap then go somewhere else. If you appreciate independent cafes with home cooked food and quality locally roasted coffees all prepared with love then you’re in luck. I don’t usually buy toast in cafes but the homemade sourdough is worth it. Good scones too.

Popped in here during our little trip to Cockermouth, looked really nice and as soon as we walked in we were welcomed by the staff. As we sat down we were given a glass of water each too, great idea as in most places you have to ask. We ordered coffee and cake and they were excellent, can not fault this little place at all, will be back when next in Cockermouth.

Great coffee (cappuccino with a flat white) and cake (coconut and lime with pear sponge) with good vibe. Getting Saturday morning going

We stumbled across this gem of a place when we were looking for somewhere to shelter from the rain on a miserable Sunday afternoon. A lovely warm welcome, good coffee and absolutely amazing Guiness and Chocolate Cake.

Visited Cockermouth whilst on a long long weekend in Keswick. After a nice walk we visited quite a few shops ,which are wonderful, and by 11.45 ish we fancied a coffee. Stumbling into the Moon and sixpence was awesome. Lovely greeting by a gentleman who directed us to high seat or a lower seat and immediately returned with two glasses of water from a huge jug laden with oranges and mint. Lovely ambience was enjoyed with a delightful cup of coffee and a large capochino both at a very reasonable price. They seem to know all their Saturday morning regulars by their Christian names and the lady spoke with us as if she had known us for longer that the 30 minutes or so that we were in. A fascinating selection of coffees, bread and cakes on offer Highly recommended to anybody visiting the delightful town of Cockermouth.

Really, really good coffee. Need to go back to sample the food. It's a very nice relaxed atmosphere which served as a perfect break in our travels. Been before, and returned on purpose.

Visited here for only the second time with friends from the north east who had not visited before. We chose this place as there are not many places open on a Sunday! Coffees were all excellent, and whilst the cakes were good, some were smaller slices- so was only charged half price for one cake. Small space but adequate and were given water.

Wonderful cosy coffee shop! Lovely soup was just what we needed on a cold day. Selection of cakes was great - some of the best vegan cake we have ever had! Staff were very welcoming and accommodating.

What a delight to stumble upon this tea room treasure in Cockermouth last Tuesday. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and attentive. Our server brought a glass of water straightaway as we arrived, which was a nice touch and much needed on a warm day, but no rush to take our order (time was needed to choose from the wide array of drinks on offer!). I had the best scone I’ve eaten in years - straight up with butter only, so nowhere to hide... with a zingy lemongrass and ginger tea, it was heaven on a plate! Be sure to pop in. Thank you guys for a memorable pit stop on our tour of the Lakes.

Fabulous find in the Main Street in Cockermouth. The owner is a great advert for his cafe and exudes good will and knowledge. Great range of drinks and wonderful cakes.
