Lovely little bookshop, with a nice cafe at the back. Has various events on through the month, though I haven't been to any. Good stock of fiction books too, especially crime.
The three of us had lunch here today, all freshly made and tasted delicious. Sat upstairs very comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. All the staff were very pleasant. Lovely place to browse and buy books.
Big shout out to @TheNewBookshop I ordered the Scott Pearce books by @adamhamdy yesterday over the phone, and they were ready to collect today at the start of my holiday (3hrs and 100 miles from home) Excellent customer service and their little cafe is fabulous 📚🍰☕️

Amazing place! The best bookshop ever! Great staff and great service. They will order any book for you and have it for you the next day Their coffee shop is fab too.
The New Bookshop is a gem. A fantastic range of local and international books - knowledgeable and friendly staff, room to browse and read, tables and chairs outside on the pavement lend a continental atmosphere. Truly a special place and one to savour !

Beautiful bookshop with an excellent cafe. We sat out the front reading our purchases and it had a lovely vibe.
This is not only a bookstore with a wide variety of subjects in stock but had a lovely cafe with very helpful staff. I had lunch here which consisted of salmon and scrambled eggs with a black Americano. Very tasty. Among the topics of books in stock are local publications, travel books, fiction and
Lovely shop. Friendly staff. Happy to order anything they don't have and get most books within a day or two. Great coffee shop.
