Delicious fries, delicious cakes, the lemon and meringue tart was HUGE and delicious. A good coffee brew. The garden centre is also very good.
Have passed this many times so thought we'd pop in for a cuppa . Glad we did. Food was lovely, always have a cream scone if they're on the menu and I personally rated this one very high , I bought 2 to bring home. Prices reasonable, clean and well presented cafe and outdoor seating area . The gard
What a find really nice cafe very helpful staff has a very good selection of gluten free sandwiches etc
Me and my husband both had the cooked breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Shame they don't do black pudding as an extra (wink, wink 😂) Would definitely recommend
An excellent place to stop off for a lunch meal or snack whilst on route and of course a visit to the garden centre. Food was good as it always is.
I always look at the ratings of places before going if I don’t know the area that we’ll and I can say that this is a fantastic place to go for all different types of flowers/plants and trees and very reasonably priced too! Excellent service and friendly staff - thank you ☺️
Great selection of interesting and healthy indoor plants. They apologised as they were renovating the outdoor plant section so only had limited selection outside. But the indoor varieties still made our visit worthwhile.
A large cafe seperate from the garden centre with a fair selection on the menu, coffee tea and snacks, as well as some small meals, order at the counter served to the table, prices about middle of the road, quality good, outside seating available in good weather. Garden section has a good selection
Called in for lunch. Lovely clean place but very echoey and noisy when lots of people in.
Went to the cafe here because the Lakes garden centre was too busy and I don't regret it at all. A lovely cafe with s great choice of small bites, main meals, drinks and cakes. However, my vegan colleague was a bit unimpressed by the almost total lack of vegan options. Not normally a concern of mine
Best little coffee shop , food was brilliant very clean wheelchair access all around staff are amazing worth a visit if you ever passing
A very busy coffee shop and garden centre located just off the A595. A well stocked garden centre. Prices are reasonable and the plants are good quality. Will definitely call in when it's planting season. Highly recommended.
Stopped in for a late lunch following a visit to Carlisle. The food we ordered was excellent. Huge portion size and it was piping hot. Something that is important to me is that the plate the food was served on was also hot. Service was fast and efficient.
My husband said it was the best breakfast he's had my sandwich and cake were lovely and the coffee stayed hot till we had finished our food
