Fantastic place; it's a proper garden centre prioritising good quality plants - the whole site is completely free of tat and tac! All the plants (plenty of veg and fruit trees) are reasonably priced and in great condition, and the location itself is really clean and tidy. Got the impression that if I needed an expert to ask advice the team here would be able to assist. Very impressed and will definitely be back again. (The cafe onsite is also wonderful!)

Have passed this many times so thought we'd pop in for a cuppa . Glad we did. Food was lovely, always have a cream scone if they're on the menu and I personally rated this one very high , I bought 2 to bring home. Prices reasonable, clean and well presented cafe and outdoor seating area . The garden centre is a joy to walk round , all the plants look well cared for , believe me I spent alot of time looking for any bedraggled ones. Some unusual indoor plants , Venus flytrap and pitcher plants. The planter area has pots that are not your run of the mill and excellent value for money . If your passing at anytime , pop in I don't think you'd be disappointed

Great selection of interesting and healthy indoor plants. They apologised as they were renovating the outdoor plant section so only had limited selection outside. But the indoor varieties still made our visit worthwhile.

A large cafe seperate from the garden centre with a fair selection on the menu, coffee tea and snacks, as well as some small meals, order at the counter served to the table, prices about middle of the road, quality good, outside seating available in good weather. Garden section has a good selection of plants that seen to be good quality and competitive prices

Me and my husband both had the cooked breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Shame they don't do black pudding as an extra (wink, wink 😂) Would definitely recommend

I always look at the ratings of places before going if I don’t know the area that we’ll and I can say that this is a fantastic place to go for all different types of flowers/plants and trees and very reasonably priced too! Excellent service and friendly staff - thank you ☺️

Went to the cafe here because the Lakes garden centre was too busy and I don't regret it at all. A lovely cafe with s great choice of small bites, main meals, drinks and cakes. However, my vegan colleague was a bit unimpressed by the almost total lack of vegan options. Not normally a concern of mine, but in this day and age there's really no excuse not to cater for this. They did have gluten free options highlighted on the menu though which shows some thought

An excellent place to stop off for a lunch meal or snack whilst on route and of course a visit to the garden centre. Food was good as it always is.

Stopped in for a late lunch following a visit to Carlisle. The food we ordered was excellent. Huge portion size and it was piping hot. Something that is important to me is that the plate the food was served on was also hot. Service was fast and efficient.
