We had the pleasure of eating at the pop up fish restaurant at Fyne Fish tonight , hosted by Alex and partner Sarah, a 4 course fish meal starting with oyster followed by smoked haddock tart, baked salmon with cream, salsa Verde and beetroot , with delicious cheesecake to finish.

Amazing seafood. Had a wonderful platter for New Year’s Eve. A great selection from shrimps to lobster claw. Particularly liked the roll mop herring, nice sweet flavour. Defiantly recommend.
Although I am not from Cockermouth I have bought fish from Fyne Fish several times. With an interesting selection the fish we purchased has always been super fresh and well prepared! Coupled with the fact the staff have always being friendly and helpful I would whole heartedly recommended these guy'
Simply the best fish mongers ive ever visited! They have the best seafood salad, the tastiest crab meat and sushi grade fish to die for! If im traveling down past the Lake District I always make a point to stop by and stock up.
