Fika - Cockermouth - Photo album

Visited off the cuff with my wife, very pleasantly surprised! I had a burger and chips,.the quality was excellent and it was piping hot. The Mrs had a veggie Hash which she said was great. The coffee was also fantastic,I'm not much of a coffee drinker either. A very good experience!
beautiful food, probably one of the best breakfasts i’ve ever eaten, all other members of party agreed. the cafe itself is beautifully thought out and decorated, the attention to detail really compliments the overall atmosphere of the place. the staff are welcoming and lovely. dogs are also welcome
Always welcome with my two dogs. I like the seasonal hot chocolate and latte flavours. I had the kids fish gujons - these need to be in an adult sandwich, they were delicious! Also fab that they have a canine menu with chews to settle the dogs. The other customers are always super friendly and c
Really enjoyed our evening meal at Fika. Very high quality, beautifully cooked and seasoned food. Substantial portion sizes too! Had a great chat with the chef who is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he's doing, ensuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Lovely little place for breakfast, I love eating out for breakfast and coffee and went for pancakes this time. It was lovely, I prefer crispy bacon with pancakes but this was nice too just not was I expected, coffee was great and the team were all friendly.
Delicious dinner tonight. Have had many lovely lunches here, but dinner was even better. I prebooked 48 hours in advance. chef adapted the menu to be both glutenfree and vegan to meet my specific needs. Even making a special dessert just for me. Fabulous food, superb service and amazing atmosphere
Popped in here for a bite to eat. Really friendly service by the two out front. Our food was excellent and absolutely delicious 😋 Recommended.
A comfortable, welcoming, and relaxing spot for a quick coffee and cake, or something more substantial like the pancakes I had. Delicious streaky bacon on top of generously-sized soft and fluffy pancakes, with a crispy hash brown and perfectly cooked fried egg - brunch perfection! And their teas are
Fija is a good option if you want a sandwich or a brunch. Their coffee and smoothies are great and they have a very nice brunch menu. Unfortunately quality comes at a price and you need to be very lucky to find an available table around lunch time.
The Eggs Norwegan was lovely, and the coffee was great too (although, the handle-less mug was too hot to hold for the first 5 minutes 😂) We went in at 11:58, and breakfast technically ended in 2 minutes, but they still accommodated and allowed us to order from the breakfast menu. Staff were friendl
What a gem! We were greeted with a warm welcome and were allowed to sit where we wanted. Breakfast menu is fantastic with lots of options along with vegan choices. The pancake stack with Berry compote and clotted cream is delicious. The full English with corn bread is so good and by far the best bre
We popped in with the dog for lunch around 1pm. It was busy but they still had a table for two, which was lucky for us. Both the food and coffee were lovely, and even though everything was cooked fresh we didn't have to wait too long.
What a little gem this place is. I had breakfast tea made with proper tea leaves and it was excellent! I had one of the best slices of cake ever – lemon and elderflower. My husband raved about his fruit scone with clotted cream and beautiful raspberry jam. What a find. Can’t wait to return.
Just had drinks. Table cleared & joined to seat 3. Saturday lunchtime, quite full. Cakes homemade apple & cinnamon, coffee & walnut, coconut & raspberry. Breakfasts looked great. Queue 4 toilet, popular with couples with babies, so changing held us up.
So glad we popped in here for breakfast. Food was delicious and the coffee was even better. We only stayed one night in Cockermouth, but definitely feel like we found a gem.
Gorgeous little Caffè with a menu that I would genuinely love to try everything on. Food was fun, enticing alterations of classic breakfast/brunch/lunch dishes. Tasted great and the presentation was top notch! Clearly a labour of love from the owners and staff alike.
Lovely little lunch spot! I had the grilled cheese and my partner had the avocado on toast. I think my cheese on toast was perfect and worth the price! The avocado, on the other hand didn’t live up to previous dishes we have had at other restaurants. Also could add more vegan options to the lunch me
Lovely staff and owner with pastries, tea and coffee, and delicious breakfast plates. The menu at our time of visit had a hunter/ gatherer thematic and the fresh ingredients reflected as such. This is a very solid cafe. Do be prepared for a small space and thus a wait and crowd. STEM TIP: scien
