Staying in the area for our anniversary we popped in on our way back from Bath and were not disappointed. Friendly and welcoming bar staff (it was his first day!), great and varied menu, my steak was cooked to perfection and my husband was beaten by the mixed grill. The chef and staff are working
First impressions we weren’t sure if the pub was open, there was only one car in the car park. We had nice pint of ale in their huge back garden and decided to try the vegan bbq cauliflower salad (tbh not something we’d usually go for!). It was delicious. Very filling and we were totally satisfied 👍

We visited the wishing well for a Sunday roast after a friend recommended it. Well what can I say. Amazing, the Sunday roast has to be the best roast we have had in a local pub. Fresh, plenty of it and the taste was 100%. We will defiantly be coming back here again.

Came a hundred miles for dinner with the family celebrating our Daughters Birthday.
Just had a quick pint after work it was quiet when I went. but it has a massive beer garden out back. Had a lovly pint in the sun out back. I haven't had the food, so I can't comment. The menu looks good, tho.
Stopped here for a cup of tea just as they opened at midday, and ended up staying for lunch...

I had Lasagne, my partner had Cod & Chips... Huge, perfectly presented dishes which tasted delicious! We will deffo be back!

Went for a meal and a pint in here the other week, the food runner was really kind and helpful and gave us great service throughout the whole meal. I would 100% recommend having a meal here.
Great friendly pub, I stayed at players Golf club for three nights and I ate here each evening. Had a great steak. All the staff were attentive and helpful, I highly recommend this for eating. There’s a good selection of ales too.
