Wow, what a wonderful evening. Both my Wife and I have eaten at Mirra 4 or 5 times now. The last of which was a party of 25 people on Thursday night (22/03) for my Wife's 40th Birthday.
The staff were amazing yet again and couldn't do enough to help. The food was outstanding as it has been each time, the meat was so fresh, tender and packed full of flavour, the rice was light and delicious and salad crisp and fresh. Everyone loved their dishes, starters and mains and many had never been before but will all be coming back.
Thankyou so much #teammirra for making my Wife's special day even more so.

This was a great experience. Food was yummy... service was fantastic. I recommend everyone to check it out and share their experiences... we ordered a platter and a few types of chicken dishes.
As a final note, we tried the Turkish coffee for the first time... it's a great experience as it was our first time trying it, and we loved it at first sip.

Food was amazing and the presentation was gorgeous both for drinks and food!
Can’t complain about it, we got seated quickly even without reservation and they provided a speedy service all together. In between meals and desert we got our table cleaned even which gave so much for the experience how much they care about having a clean restaurant and providing a great customer service.
I’m pleased we came here and will definitely go again and recommend it to others!

The falafel and lentils soup were very tasty. And also everything that my friends ordered they loved, too.

If you like Turkish food, this is one of the best in Colchester.
So, this is the second time I am dining at Mirra restaurant and I said blimey , I haven’t written a review , have I? It was an excellent dine in the second time around . I asked the waiters to suggest a meal and what they served me was absolutely delicious. The best part of it is , they can customize your dish to suit your taste. I asked for my fish to be grilled extra spicy and it was done . The starter was absolutely delicious followed by the main course and the dessert is a Turkish special. Lovely ambience , attentive staff , good for celebrations, intimate and family dinners . They have a hall upstairs for parties and ceremonies.
I have not expected it to be so lovely. From beautiful modern interior, to chef cooking in front of you. Friendly staff, delicious meal. We had a toddler and even so they had space for pushchair. Provided high chair. Happy to spend money in place like this. Next time I would come for the dinner with my loved one.

I and my wife had a dinner this evening in Mirra restaurant. We enjoyed every moment and the waiter has been great and friendly. We will definitely recommend this restaurant. Love Turkish food and Turkish people. Thank you guys 😇

Took my boyfriend here for a birthday treat as he loved the smells drifting out every time we've walked past. I'm so glad I chose this place as the service was very professional and friendly. The food was very well cooked and very well presented. I was happy to pay the prices as they were very reasonable for the quality of service and food. We had a lovely, romantic evening and will definitely return again.
