Great to have a drink with a nice selection of beers. Very comfortable and the food looked great. Would go back to eat here.

Visited for a quick drink and meal. Bartender was lovely and chatty, friendly with his regulars and very cheery. Not huge choice on menu for vegetarian meals or desserts but food was reasonably priced and enjoyed.
Went in Dec 2020 (Tier 2 Colchester / Tier 4 London). Friendly helpful staff. Ordered wings as 'Substantial meal' to go with pints of Peroni. Enjoyed. Had football on TV. RECOMMEND.

Fantastic proper pub, called in for “one” drink before heading home Wednesday night, woke up in the Red Lion Hotel opposite next morning after 10 Grey Goose vodka’s !!! Me and my partner had a nice chicken and burger meal here last night. Zed on the bar was really friendly and helpful and Meg in the kitchen cooks a great meal.We will be back today to celebrate St Patrick's Day!
