Queen Street Brewhouse - Colchester - Photo album

Excellent dog friendly pub, fantastic quirky old building with a great selection of Ales. Made us feel very welcome, the interior is a proper old english tavern style, parts of this pub must go back to the 1400's. If you are in colchester this is one of my favourites.
Nice little place if you fancy a German or Belgian beer! Also have a few other drinks including some more unusual ciders. I had a cherry beer that was really quite good... It's a small place, and it's definitly a bit different to other places you can go drinking in Colchester... if you like a 'trim
A lovely place with a very comfortable feel . Not the biggest of places but a superb range of craft beers (as as most craft beers they are on the strong side, so it pays to have a half personally). The staff were very friendly and more than happy to offer you a taster of your chosen beer ! . The thr
Nice pub with great ambience and live music. Didn't eat there
If you enjoy Belgian-style beers then this is the place for you. An unrivalled bottle range plus some specials on draught, alongside some local beers and real ciders. It’s on the small side so can get busy but the staff are happy to chat and help you with your beer choices. I believe there is live m
Huge selection of beers and very friendly staff. It has a traditional pub atmosphere which is great. They have events and live music some weekends so have a look to see what’s on. You must visit this place!
Nice place, small but very welcoming. Good selection of beers. Good live music
A quaint little pub with much to offer both locals and visitors is the Queen Street Brewhouse. The day I visited the bar man was so helpful and knowledgeable on the many choices of beers and ales that they offered. The toilets were also very clean.
Nice little place, nice atmosphere and fun music. Not too overly packed but just right.
Listed 15th century, oldest commercial building in Colchester. Has Roman well beneath the structure. Great beer. Welcoming atmosphere. Music equipment and décor needs revamping. A tad leaky sometimes. Could benefit from some more young blood running or managing events. Needs to be promoted better.
