The Dukes Seafood

Went on a Wednesday lunchtime for a nice lunch and a ride on the bike. Loads of choice but I was hungry so went for the prawn sarnie deal and added four oysters. At a quid each, it's not extravagant, delivered on a platter with a lemon wedge and red wine vinegar and onion dressing in a pot. Tasty and fresh (as you'd expect), left happy and full. It's a great place for a peaceful walk and to look at a boat or thousands.

We visited dukes today for the first time and will definitely be returning!! The food was absolutely amazing and the views on a day like today were to die for! I had the sea bass with green bean salad and my husband had the mackerel, both dishes were absolutely delicious. It was really busy today as you’d expect with such beautiful weather but the staff were working really hard and we had a wonderful time. I can’t wait to visit again! Thank you! x k

Super happy and impressed with our visit to Dukes yesterday lunchtime. My husband’s sea bass was delicious (I had a sneaky taste), as were my scallops with chorizo. I’d originally wanted the cod goujons but these weren’t ready as they were awaiting delivery of eggs - which actually reassured me as I knew then they were freshly made. A local beer for him and a cider for me rounded the meal off. The young lady who bought our food to us was lovely - we’re definitely looking forward to our next visit!! Thank you Dukes!

The seafood is amazing! We looked at reviews and locations of several places on the island and this one looked good. The people serving were super friendly and helpful. They served local beer, a real plus. They have lots of other options too. It's not inexpensive, but this is a case of you get what you pay for. Definitely recommend it, even on a cooler windy day like the one we had. The seating is all outdoors on picnic tables with a few tables under a shelter.
