Came here a week ago for the cocktails master class with my friends. Really enjoyed it! Great value for money. The food was amazing too and the staff were all so friendly.
Great atmosphere in the bar downstairs afterwards and the DJ played some great music. Highly recommend!! �����
It's was very busy, we had the last table.. staff were friendly and helpful.. meal is really good with lots of choice.. the staff explained that the wait would be while as they were busy.. the food was amazing and worth that wait.. �

Best Nachos ever! Finally I have found somewhere in this country that do proper nachos and that was here. And the staff were great too
Saturday lunch of sea bass and salad was delicious dessert of blackcurrant and prosecco roulade scrummy,our waiter was brilliant and good atmosphere,will be back,oh my husband had the mojito jelly and ice cream,was to die for!!

The prices are a bit higher then in some neighborhood pubs. Also, the food was not to our taste, the veggies especially red paprika served with hummus wasn't fresh. We ended up going to another place yesterday, where it's considerably cheaper drinks.
But the look of food and drinks are beautiful and the music is also good.

Found this Slug & Lettuce located down the end of the High Street; walking distance from the Town Railway Station.
Both the outside and inside decor was the standard traditional uniformed Slug & Lettuce design.
Having entered it soon became apparent that it could do with a spruce up, some TLC... Signs of ware and tear were clearly showing; seating fabric worn and ripped and the ladies toilets... well good luck if you find one with a working lock. The ladies toilets were slightly dirty with toilet roll on the floor instead of in a holder; would expect better from a Slug & Lettuce.
* Beware when using the ladies, the stairs down are rather steep.
So, food and drink, the Cocktails were spot on.. and the Feast with Friends Sharer was lovely, certainly worth the money, £13.99. Having not had 'shredded shawarma chicken' previously, we wasn't sure what to expect; I found it a little too spicy personally (although I am not a spice fan) therefore I would skip this topping next time.
The staff.. there appeared to be a number of staff milling about. The place was not busy, therefore; surprised that tables were not tidied or cleaned, instead the staff just stood talking to each other, trying new cocktails and the vacated tables were left with plates/remains just sat there.
Overall... lovely food and drink, worth a visit.

Maddie was lovely! She really gave a good atmosphere even though it wasn’t very busy. Mykee I think is still new but did v well, a lot of his drinks that was served didn’t have garnish but it’s not a big deal we enjoyed ourselves. Food was delicious compliments to the chef and his team. Thank you for showing us what kind of atmosphere you can all put together with only a couple of people working on a Sunday :)))
Had my first bottomless brunch with my daughters today. Couldn’t have picked a better place to come. The service was amazing food was fantastic and they went above and beyond with their service. We were served by Misty and Jess. Very friendly and professional. We will be back and highly recommend this place to everybody.
