The Castle Inn - Colchester - Photo album

Stopped here after visiting the castle, it was Sunday and me and my girlfriend were fancying a Sunday Roast! So we entered this pub that is just by the entrance of the castle park, I think recently refurbished, nice outside area, nice decor inside too, really minimal though but with some nice finitu
So welcoming and attentive. Nice dog friendly pub with a warm and position atmosphere. Couldn't ask for anything more. Drinks were reasonably priced and food was of a good standard with generous portion sizes. Highly recommend if ever in the area.
It was lovely to sit outside on our first night in the town after moving to Colchester. We had a lovely time. Thank you!
Always a decent place to stop for one or two when your on route. Drinks are a little pricey compared to some places. They are adhering to government guidelines very strictly and even the outside table was sanitised before we were seated. This was reassuring.
Very nice smart pub, modern decor. Bit disappointing the diet coke I had on second visit didn't taste right and was flat. Well organised for covid secure. Pleasant staff. My female companion advised it needs sanitary bin in ladies toilets.
Great food great staff
A great atmosphere with lovely attentive staff. Excellent homemade food at reasonable prices. Patricia is the owner and so friendly.
Always was a good pub, but has new owners , with a new look. Great place to meet on a sunny day.
