Triple Two Coffee

The person working was extremely helpful because I use 2 sticks so juggling items is tricky. He carried my food and drink to the till and then to a table. He also pressed the combination of the invalid loo for me. The place was spotless. It started to fill up with customers a little later in the afternoon. Nice that there are tables and chairs outside plus plenty of space inside

Came here to have drinks and cakes with my toddler and not a thing was too much trouble for the friendly and welcoming staff. They took the time to explain their different coffees to me and told me to take a seat and they would bring my order over to me. I assumed this level of service was because I had a child and a walking stick but this is in fact standard service for all customers. The cappuccino was fantastic and the cakes were delicious. We had a bannoffee type cake slice and a blueberry muffin and the portions were generous. I should have taken a picture really but it all looked so tasty that I just got tucked into everything. The staff here are so charming and I shall certainly be making a return visit to have some more delicious coffee and cake.

I adore this place. The staff are always friendly no matter how busy they are. Brilliant selection of pastries, cakes and sandwiches/toasties, and you're able to order things they don't have on display. I went there for the first time about a month ago and now it's the only place I go to for coffee. Their caramel macchiato frappe is to die for.

Great place slightly off the beaten track in Colchester, about 5 mins’ walk from the castle. We went here after a few hours pacing around the castle (well worth a visit with a guide too) and thoroughly enjoyed it. A warm, friendly welcome from the chap behind the counter, the fulfilment of the promise of “the best coffee” and some delicious muffins to go with the drinks. If we’re ever back in Colchester, we’ll be coming back here!
