KFC is turning to be the cheapest family meal I can find. 12 piece boneless banquet with gravy and mash sides feeds 4 of us happily. The new mini fillet burger for 1.99 is very nice aswell with the garlic mayo sauce.
Really good food - hot, full of flavour and big portions. Had a long wait but was quite busy so can’t fault the staff. Overall a good experience.
We always order take away here and not had a problem so far. The drive through always flows well and you get served quickly

Clean and a large branch. The staff were lazy AF and hadn’t been trained well on pretending to want to be there. My drink was flat and I asked them to make another and they did so but not without the eye rolling and huffing. Thank god for the digital order boards.
Unit was clean and tidy. Staff in clean uniforms, cheerful and helpful prompt service with a smile good food.
Despite the long wait, which one can put down to this being a new restaurant and a previously pretty much inaccessible KFC in Colchester town centre, the food was excellent. The staff, although being rushed off their feet were polite and helpful. Now we have seen the demand can we have a KFC on the North or East of Colchester please!
Polite and friendly staff on the drive thru, fast and efficient service even with a lot of cars pulling up at the same time. Bucket was delicious, hot and sauces were given in abundance. Great Service.
Rating is solely based on recent visit and the fact that we have been to a few of these over the years and so far this is the only one not to mess up the order and actually take and pass over order in a timely manner. Much better than Colchester town with the added benefit of drive thru option.
Word of warning however, parking area is a bit rubbish particularly when it gets busy!
Very nice meal. They tend to be very tight with there fries. Their portion of fries 🍟 is still disgusting, it's so small it is in most cases not worth serving up.
Stopped off on our way home from a shopping trip. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was piping hot.
The only criticism I have is a number of tables hadn't been cleaned.
Great location whether your coming in to do a spot of shopping nearby or on your way home from visiting the local zoo and are looking for something chicken to sink your teeth into!
Loads of parking, drive thru and collection via the KFC app work well! Staff were good and courteous, although contact with them was brief.
The reason I have only given 4 stars out of 5 is due to the drive thru lane for the Starbucks opposite can block people trying to get out of the KFC drive thru or cars parked next to the restaurant.
