A wonderful little restaurant that I would recommend to anyone, the piccante I ordered was simply delicious and took no time at all! The brownie with pistachio ice cream was perfect and I couldn't be happier with the experience I had.

Lovely staff and wonderful food.
We were a party of 9 (5 adults and 4 children) without a booking and staff were accommodative. Also staff were very attentive with a dairy allergy.

Superb breakfast! I never normally have scrambled eggs out as they’re never normally as good at home, these were silky and gorgeous. Top quality herby sausages, crispy pancetta and delicious mixed mushrooms. One of the best breakfasts served in Colchester and in my top all time breakfast list. Also

A lovely relaxed lunch in very pleasant surroundings. Food was excellent freshly prepared good sized portions. Choice of 2 or 3 course set menu or a La carte. We'll definitely be back when shopping in Colchester City Centre.
Amazing food. Had the lunch set menu which has some lovely options for an indulgent 3 course meal out. Affordable at under £20 a head (3 courses and drinks). Would recommend and go again.
Great place to get a coffee or tea. The service was very fast and friendly also. I now have a voucher for money off my next visit, which is even better!

Usually I wouldn't review a place on a first visit, however Carluccio's was absolutely brilliant! A fantastic cosy atmosphere high quality food with fresh ingredients at very reasonable prices, the staff were accommodating to all the people dining in, and I have to say, I had a brilliant time! :)

We love coming here for breakfast. Great staff, always friendly and the food is always excellent.
Pleasantly surprised! There are a number of places to eat in Colchester so making a choice of where to go for lunch isn't easy. We decided to try Carluccio's as we hadn't been there in such a long time and as it's in Fenwicks, a little mooch around afterwards wouldn't hurt.
