We were staying at Scoutscroft park for the weekend and decided to have a chippy dinner on the Sunday.
My daughter and son in law wandered up to the takeaway as we couldn't get through on the phone.

I've had several gluten free takeaways from the Sands in the last few months- all absolutely delicious but I think my favourite is the mouth watering scampi and chips I had last night 😋 Other gluten free options I recommend are battered fish, sausage and smoked haddock and mozzarella. Always freshly
Amazing chippy, huge portions and friendly hard working staff.
Delicious fish and chips that hit the spot after a long day. Our food didn't take long at all to be ready despite being cooked to order and service was warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
I had a scampi and chips and got another chips and cheese. Took a while to take my order and then to get it ready. But the food itself .. although not the best, was not bad either.
Funny thing is a loud woman came in and asked for a huge chips and said I want it right now..bla bla bla and kept on b
Lovely little place to stop and eat, with reasonably priced fare. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, so creating a lovely atmosphere.
Really big fish but not very generous portion of chips. The staff are friendly and professional. Fast service and food top quality.
Large portions, very tasty just got the order wrong and we couldn't correct it but previously they got our order right and everything was really good!
