The best and most welcoming pub in the world � Best place to have a fabulous meal and/or a few drinks �
The food was great , steak scampi and king prawns with chips , loads on my plate �
I went to the Crown hotel for a meal with friends and to watch the Entertainment. The meal was delicious and would highly recommend going. The staff were all very friendly. The entertainment, singer Paul Scholey, singing 60's 70's and Elvis was excellent. A brilliant evening all round. Will definitely go again �
Went for tea atmosphere was good service was great. Meals were hot and plenty of it. The quality and quantity was certainly 5 star and value for money. Will be back and certainly will recommend.

Me and my friend went for lunch yesterday. ..couldnt fault the food n service...amazing portion sizes n good value for money...neva had a bad meal....been loads of times n more to come...
I have worked all over England for 26 years, and due to a change in employer in 2001, I decided to use the town of Colne as my Monday to Friday home, the Crown was always busy and I could not book a room due to its popularity, I managed to get a room and stayed there for about 8 years, I think that speaks for itself how good the Crown is, good beer, great food, and the best bunch of bar staff and punters you could ever meet,
Due to my employers closing down in May 2016 I had to change location to back home in Scotland, but I still keep in touch with the many friends I made there,
and I plan to visit every now and again. �������

Great food as ever and reasonably priced too! Good couple of moorhouse ales on tap as well as all the usual.
Never a disappointing visit here whether for food or just a few drinks.
Great proper pub. Great food great service. One day I will try the beer when I'm not driving lol.

I had the pleasure of staying here a couple nights (room 10), the staff were friendly and accommodating, got to meet a few namely Amy, poppy, Brad and Laura, thank you and the rest of the staff behind the scenes for making my stay great! This place represents great value for money as well at time of posting I paid 45 pound per night which included a lovely breakfast from Laura. Pub and dining area were clean and welcoming, I had steak which was lovely as you can see in the picture. Room was comfortable but the windows didn't open but no major drama for me. 1 bug bear was the WiFi was completely down during my stay and with O2 signal being rubbish here indoors I was struggling for entertainment namely Netflix so download your programs before you come! Free Parking right next to the hotel as well. Thanks again guys, really appreciate it, keep up the good work 👍👌💪☺️🫶🍺😁
Cannot beat the quality and prices. Crown sizzler is amazing and worth every penny. Staff lovely and love coming here.
Hadn't been for awhile but found it surprisingly good since new owners took t over. Food excellent, bar staff very pleasant and helpful.

What a great place. Lots of menu choices. Friendly staff. We were a party of 10 and all really enjoyed our meals. Would definitely recommend and will go again.
We went for the Great British Blues Fringe to watch bands.
Had a lovely meal at Crown today with a friend. The food was excellent. The portions were ample. The vegetables are fresh and the meat pie is a must try. The staff were friendly and polite. We will definitely be going again.
After hearing different reviews after original owners had left, decided to give it a go, so glad we did, food was delicious and piping hot, good portion size and great value for money, will definitely go again 👍
