The Pub and accommodation is run by fantastic people. Every occasion I visit there is a warm and friendly greeting and all food, drinks and service is great! This is a well run pub, perfect for locals and passers by alike!! Keep up the great work, and see you again soon! Be sure to book a room if s
A lovely pub with nicely decorated rooms, they have put lots of attention to details that definitely don’t go unnoticed. The food was absolutely fantastic! But the biggest star goes to the hosts, everyone was very pleasant and went an extra mile to make us enjoy our stay. We felt very much welcomed
I was looking for somewhere to stay local to where I was working, and am glad I found the Foinavon. The room was big and clean with a really comfortable bed, the food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast, and the staff were helpful and friendly. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay, or just t

Big something for everyone pub. Had a spicy pizza which was good but made my eyes water. Good selection of real ale.
It's a really lovely pub in the heart of Compton village. The food is really great (price to quality feels spot on). Our children (4 and 8) ate all their food, which is always a good sign. There is a good selection of beers and it's great setting to enjoy them within (especially with the sun trap ga
Well what an amazing place, very friendly staff, food was amazing, would highly recommend you check it out 👌
Stayed here last minute after covid changed our plans. The owner, Connie, could not have been more helpful. The room was comfortable and spotless, and the breakfast was delicious and huge! A lovely pub with a big garden the kids loved. Would happily stay here again.
Great beer garden, lacked a good craft ale though
Lovely local pub with fantastic food.
Nice pub with good food. There were a few things not on the menu available but staff were friendly and pleasant. A shame that it was so empty and therefore lacked a bit of atmosphere. Our 3 dogs were also made very welcome. Absolutely stunning walks all around the area.
Took our family for dinner on Wednesday evening in half term. It was decorated very tastefully in Halloween decorations. We had an evening drink in an outdoor pod under twinkle lights. (Very Instagramble!) We then went inside to eat. The table was a lovely large table, full of candles.. a lovely atm
We stayed here whilst cycling the King Alfreds Way and absolutely loved our stay. Staff were really helpful and allowed us to lock our bikes away in their cellar. Our room was really comfortable, clean and a nice place to chill out after a hard days riding. We ate in the restaurant for both dinner a
This place is great. Super helpful staff and landlord. Chickens roaming in the gorgeous beer garden. The "rolls", which I would describe as large baps, looked amazing but understandably there were not any vegan options so unfortunately couldn't have one.
Excellent Sunday lunch today. Just what you want from a pub Sunday lunch- really well cooked delicious food, good portions, some imaginative chef preparation of the desserts- highly recommended and dog friendly too. We'll be back. Also great walks in the area on and around the Ridgeway
Very good sized pub and restaurant. A lot of work has gone into the outside space......inside I very nice too, but in the current circumstances a great job done. Staff are really nice and helpful. Not eaten there yet, but from what I have seen and heard, it's good.
Lovely evening meal with kids on a Wednesday. Staff very accommodating towards slightly annoying children excited about Halloween. Decorations were excellent. Food was spot on pub grub. Highly recommend the rodeo burger.
