We came on a Wednesday night and not all venues were open. I have spent a lot of time in Thailand and Brazil and had some food Bangkok street grill & Brazilian street food - the food was excellent at both, I highly recommend if you are looking for something other than English pub food (which we certainly were).
Have only put 4 stars for atmosphere as it wasn’t overly busy and not all venues were open but overall a great vibe and I believe it’s much busier from Thursday and over the weekend.
Hidden little gem in the heart of Congleton. It's still getting on its feet and organised but over the weekend when all the little restaurants are open what a fantastic place. I can highly recommended the Thai place and the Brazilian. Have yet to try the rest (I keep on getting the panang it's soooo good.)
We loved the atmosphere and the great variety of cuisines! I especially reccomend the Brazilian place Boteco, and the Dublin Bar does a good array of drinks. Will definitely be back to same the other places!
Had a great pad thai at the bangkok place, and it was very good, authentic and very affordable for the amount of food you get. The owner speaks thai, he actually lived in Thailand for 10 years, and the staff kitchen are thai as well. Impressive. Would definitely recommend the bangkok place.
Not sure about the rest of the food court, the bathrooms weren't really nice, and the music was so so loud, insane.
First place visiting capital walk and we probably chose a very busy night. It was rammed, probably due to the Christmas light switch on and England playing in the world cup.
Because of those reasons it was pretty difficult to get a table and the service was pretty slow.
We were confused that the website said no bookings available, just walk ins, but there were bookings and staff asking if we had booked a table....
The food and drinks from all places (large group, we sampled a lot!) were fantastic. We didn't have one bad meal or drink. There was a good selection of drinks too between an Irish pub, a liquor room, cocktail bar and the sky bar.
The layout seemed to confuse the staff and despite putting the table numbers in the app, the waiters struggled to find our table.
I'm going to put the service issues down to it being so busy in there last night and possibly quite a few inexperienced staff working but honestly everyone put a shift in and were working hard all night.
I would recommend anyone coming here for the food alone. The wide selection of cuisines allow for everyone to be catered for.
Love the idea of this place ,and it needs to happen a lot more. We went on a whim mid afternoon on a Sunday so a few of the outlets were closed or on a break. A couple of the owners were prepared to reopen if we wished, but we declined as we think everyone deserves a break. The ordering app worked great, and I hate technology. The staff are all polite and helpful all clubbing together. We will definitely be going back as there is a good variety of food on offer with the ability to order from various vendors and sit at the one table! Thai, Brazilian, Chinese, American, pizza, Italian and traditional English cafe all in one. Perfect. I congratulate all owners for coming together to create this gem and wish them all the best as they develop the concept. Go and try it it will only get better and the concept might spread elsewhere!
Great choice of different cuisines. We had Thai food, freshly cooked and delicious.
Wow, this place has just recently reopened as a foodhall where you can choose from a number of different cuisines from around the world. Everyone was very helpful to get you started and help order the food and drink. At the moment there are several outlets that do not appear on the qr code, but they were open for business and willing to serve .
Once you have ordered your food and drink on your phone and set up an account it arrives quickly.
All the food and drink that we ordered, from a number of the outlets tasted great and was brought to our table without delay.
All in all a great evening was had.
Wow! Just as we were walking out of the town centre past the NatWest thinking how tired the town appeared - Bang! - Capital Walk!
It was always going to be the Caribbean restaurant and "yeah mon" we weren't disappointed.
Great food, great team - if you weren't so far away I'd be dining with you guys several times a week. For real!
Keep up the superb work!
Some really nice establishments here but the place could do so much better if they had a proper marketing team. CW only push the ones they own and each time they post photos of their own food it really doesn't look very nice. Best places to eat their is the Jamaican, Bangkok and the Brazilian.
