Went along to the Old Inn last Wednesday just to try Di's Pies and I wasn't disappointed. Ok the weather was unbelievably hot not exactly pie weather but a couple of pints of ice cold lager soon remedied that. I opted for the steak and kidney which was generously filled with the afore mentioned meats and a lovely gravy. Will definitely be back to try some more!

Lovely unspoilt country pub. Food menu looks good (although so far untried). Great selection of ales & ciders. Great garden & outside areas. How all pubs should look!

The Old has started doing Saturday morning breakfast from 10-12 under and new chef and it's brilliant. £7.95 for a full English with veggie and vegan options is great value especially with local sausages and bacon. Really great tasting and served fast and piping hot with toast and lots of butter included. Free refills on tea and coffee too and friendly service. What more can you ask for? Will be back regularly.

I have been a regular (once a month) for 40yrs with different owners. Now it is really the best and dog friendly pub I know. Something for everyone. Great food. 17th Century pub, nice fire 🔥 place, with plenty of seating or hold on to the many leather straps hanging from the ceiling. The garden is out of this world. Only the other day I went with my dog. Covered areas to sit with tree lights, an inside area, no need to go back inside to order as a window to the bar is right there. Heating lamps hanging and the tree lighting give a calming warm atmosphere and ambience. The bar has an extensive range of ales on the pumps and bottles of Cider including Thatcher's Katy's 7% a very refreshing drink . Lots of small bites even bread rolls with fillings. There is a restaurant to the right of the bar and during the day on weekends it's possible to get a table and choose from a great menu. This pub is secluded, if you are not a local you won't know it's there. You may have to park up to 50m from the pub depending, but I have always found a space very close to the pub. Cannot think of anything negative about this establishment. Great Old Inn.

Beautiful little village pub with very friendly, welcoming atmosphere, the staff are super friendly & went above & beyond! The food was delicious. Would definitely recommend the chicken, ham & leek pie with chips. Even my 7 month old baby loved the mash potato & gravy.

Off the beaten track well worth a visit on street parking. All you would expect from a country pub, good homemade food cooked to order build your own pasta for the youngest went down well. Beer garden all welcome with separate smoking area some under cover seating dogs welcome outside, massive log burning fire for the winter. Sunday roast was great as well

The old inn is as close to the perfect english pub as you can get. Log fires secret nooks a garden for the summer and bar furniture smoothed by years of use from weary traveller and friendly local along with the atmosphere comes a good selection of ales lagers ciders and softs as well as a considered menu of english classics and country favourites. This is my favourite place to visit and often the first when i return to the UK.

Friendly approachable staff, excellent food, generous tasty meals and worth a visit More than a pub as puts monies back into the community. This helps families like my sisters. Can't wait to go again.

Fab! Great food. Nicely presented. Plenty of it. Good selection of veg which is often so lacking. Lovely friendly and welcoming staff. Great buzzy atmosphere. Very busy local pub. And to top it all me and my mother both got given primroses for mothers day. What a lovely touch. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and return ourselves. Well done! 10 out of 10 on everything. Couldn't fault it at all.
