Went for the first time last night, it’s hard to not to sound hyperbolic when discussing the quality and flavour of food. It is beyond amazing, best belly pork I’ve ever had, best pork burger I’ve ever had and best beans I’ve ever had. So good went back this morning for breakfast and currently eating the best bacon I’ve ever had

I was pleasantly surprised to find a BBQ joint in rural Yorkshire. The staff were very friendly and helped me with all the choices on the menu. I decided to order ribs, chips, beans and coleslaw, along with a stout on cask. The restaurant offers about 6-7 homemade sauces, they were obviously made with a lot of thought. The server generously let me try a bit of everything. Some of the recipes like the truffle BBQ sauce were completely new to me. The sauces had a good range of flavour, both tangy and spicy. Was a very nice change from the limited, overly sweet sauces at some restaurants. The chips also came with a choice of seasoning. I had the rib seasoning, which was perfect. The ribs were very good. Obviously smoked and slow cooked. Tender, but not mushy like some places that boil their ribs to simulate slow smoking. The coleslaw was nice, I think it had a bit of sesame oil in it. The beans were good and complemented the BBQ. The chips were freshly made and crisp. The portions were generous. I arrived hungry and still ended up with a takeaway portion. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone in town. I was impressed with the recipes and attention to detail. The staff were also a huge plus and made me feel very welcome.

10/10 recommend . Really good menu choices . The staff service was really good they called me after my order to ask what we’d like to replace an out of stock item with The venue is real clean and nice vibe The food was A.Mazzinnggg! Really tasty, nice meat, Good portions , Loved the quality. Can’t wait to go back

Fantastic place, the staff are second to none, we were welcomed on a Saturday afternoon and sampled the ciders with the elderflower being a good choice, the food was super.

*AMAZING* belly pork - amazing boneless wings - amazing sauces - amazing drinks - amazing service - lovely beans - some how... amazing We popped in having walked down the Trans Pennine Trail from edlington and fancied some food while we where there, where seated with no issues even with a large reservation, everything was really good only thing I would have changed if I was been picky is the crinkle fries could do with crisping up, but that's been picky, lady advised they had been open 6 weeks and I'm really glad we tried it, will be back again :)
