Food nice, freshly cooked and tasty. Only thing is they only take cash and no free machine in the village.

No parking so packed on the road outside, service was a bit slower then hoped but chips scored 10 out of 10 .

Brilliant. The chips were perfect, the fish batter a little salty for me but portion sizes were good. Excellent staff and a safe system. With queues out the shop you know it's going to be good.
Rained all day had fish n chips 6pm, the Wife had a burger n chips from their take away .She said they were welcoming and chattty .The fish tasted fresh and the batter perfect wife couldn't eat all her burger as it was so big so I had half but it was very tasty we thought.Oh and Rosie the dog enjoye
Really lovely the people who work here and the food was delicious too, not greasy. Kids and us enjoyed it all. Please remember it is Cash Only when you get there. (B.P. garage has a postiffice which does free cash withdrawals)
Great little fish and chip shop on the edge of the village ran by a friendly husband and wife. The portions are just right and the curry is sweet just the way I like it, 6.50 for fish and chips is also a great price for the lake district.
Consistently good quality food. I'm a bit particular about my fish and it's always moist and succulent. My daughter is a big fan of their pies.
I can only talk about the takeaway as the café party has not been open when I have visited.
