Visited one lunchtime and was surprised at how lovely this place is inside. Easy to get a table and we had not booked. It’s in an unappealing area of Consett (just my opinion), just slightly out of the centre and we had wrongly assumed it would be a bit run down inside. It wasn’t at all, it was love
An amazing little jewel. Fabulous pub/restaurant. Service was fantastic - did not get the name of our server but he was amazing. Polite, friendly and game for a laugh.
Fast efficient service with enough time between courses. Food was fresh, piping hot and delicious.

Came for a meal and drinks with colleagues and friends and experienced a lovely atmosphere. It was busy due to there being a world cup match on but we went upstairs and were able to get a table. Reasonable prices and attentive staff. Would happily visit again.
