A brilliant visit to Joeys as ever! Been here a couple of times now and everything is always perfect! Firstly the atmosphere is bang on. The music, the vibe is all perfect. The staff are all very friendly and helpful too! Then the food which is always amazing! Served hot, great taste and a perfect style of menu for food with friends! I’d recommend this place to anyone!

This was our fourth visit & the food was fabulous as usual. Staff are really friendly. We have tried brunch here, as well as evening meals, and would highly recommend. We were disappointed to learn that they typically no longer allow dogs in after 5pm though.

What a fabulous place one of those hidden gems. Really quirky set up. Food was really good. Service was great. Atmosphere was awesome. The triple cooked goose fat chips really do live up to the hype of being the best ever tasted. The sangria was delicious too. Will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes and next time save some room for dessert.

My sister and I took my mum for dinner Wednesday evening for her birthday, we were not disappointed! Considering it is a marquee structure and it was extremely windy and wet, we were warm and cosy inside. From the moment we walked through the door the welcome was warm and genuine, our waitress smiled the whole time and was so attentive. We had the Emperor Prawns and wowza, i’ve never experienced anything like it. When Joey heard it was mum’s birthday he offered her a drink on the house, what a lovely touch, you dont often get something for nothing nowadays. After a few more dishes Joey came out of the kitchen to have a chat with customers. We were intrigued by the Lobster tank, not only did Joey explain about the importance of the tank and the difference it makes to the meat, he also got out a female and male and let us have a picture. We had so many questions Joey sat with us and shared his story about how he has ended up in Fobbing, what an amazing path he has been down so far! Thank you for a lovely evening and for our delicious food and thank you for making my mum feel special, cannot wait to come back and bring others with me to enjoy the experience.

What an amazing afternoon with friends at Joey’s Java! We went on Saturday for lunch - a little hidden gem in Fobbing, away from big chain restaurants where the food is mass produced, this was freshly cooked tapas using local ingredients; attentive waitresses and Joey came out to see how everything was …. Little personal touches go along way and we had a really wonderful afternoon!

Local surprise I was looking through and found this venue only a few miles from my house. First visit didn’t go well as he was changing his hours and was closed Turned up this afternoon and found it open so sat in one of the two domes, returns out the one I chose was booked for later for a Harry Potter themed party this the decor! Decided on the Tapas menu, has a gargantuan Gambas interesting and tasty experience. Some beautifully presented and cooked squid. The pastas bravas were nice too. The menu has a couple of cuisines my portions were large enough that no room for anything else. A quirky venue with personality and a very friendly chef (with a classical cooking background) well worth a visit Kept clean after previous customers left You need to realise you are parking at the next door farm shop to find it, but worth the effort!
