We popped in last night for a few drinks and some food, we loved it ! The steaks are unbelievable, these guys really know what they’re doing! steak melted in your mouth. Really good quality local food. 10/10 from me. Will be coming back again soon 👍🏻
Had a lovely meal today.
Steaks and burgers were amazing.
The host was fantastic and the locals stepped in to serve our drinks as his wife/ partner had an emergency.
Very lovely host who is obviously passionate about customer service and making you feel special.
My son mentioned that it was my Birth
Good pub with plenty of seating (outdoors and in). A good spot for people watching with a pint. The sandwiches are good and the beer selection is varied. I had the steak and mushroom with a side of gravy for dipping (gravy is an extra). A pub to enjoy with friends.
Great place to enjoy great food. We have been here a few times and it never fails to impress. This time we had the steak and burgers and both were delicious and great value for money. The service is spot on but it can get busy so it’s best to book a table.
New owners are lovely! so welcoming to us and the dogs! Garden outside was great for the dogs and they even got a biscuit each! Will be back soon thats for sure

Made a reservation at what we thought was this restaurant, turns out we booked the wrong place!!! Owner came to have a chat, see if he could squeeze us in at a later time. Visited last night to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. Very welcoming food was amazing. Best steak we've ever had. Very attentive staff lovely landlord, nothing too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere. Made it a birthday to remember. Definitely going back.
What an absolute find. Found this place today while visiting my daughter at Bath Spa. Made to feel very welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Fabulous lunch today, asked for reconmendations and the landlord suggested the pork and told me how he could cook it for me... I was then shown the biggest pork chop ever before it was popped in to cook. Amazing food, I even did what I never do and had pudding!
This pub is amazing! Great staff, brilliant clientele. Lovely setting. Booze is reasonable and food amazing. Great for Scooter / Mod experience. But all people are made to feel welcome. Superb place
The best pub experience I've had in my life. You know how good and amazing it feels when a proper countryside pub feels like your stepping into someone's home. Staff are incredible and the food is comparable to being kissed by God himself. Absolutely divine Huns 👸🏼👸🏼👸🏼 XX
my hubs and i are from texas, we how we like t- bone. the chef/owner here cooked our steak perfectly. the meal was outstanding. wish we lived here so we could come back weekly!
Had one of the best cooked steaks I've had in a long while, all our meals were cooked to perfection, had a lovely welcome from the landlord and his staff , highly recommend this great pub.
Smashing place for scooter's! VERY welcoming. Stefan and staff couldn't do enough for us. Lighting the fires, making us feel welcome. Burger's are smashing, with chips and a drink deal. Looking forward to spending many happy summer evenings here. Watching the 🌞 setting.
Amazing food, friendly staff, open fires and always plays great music. A good range of food although only one veggie option but it was delicious. Would highly recommend a visit!
