Review The Red Tile Inn - Cossington

Came here whilst we were in the area for 2 nights. The food was amazing, such huge portions but so very tasty we came back on the 2nd night. The burger was the best I’ve ever eaten and great value for money. I wish we were staying longer so I could try more things on the menu. Would highly recommend and we will definitely return if we are in the area again.

Wow, took a last second turn off the A39 as The Red Tile was signposted just before the turn. It was a snap decision to eat here but so glad we did. Honest pub food that is very well made with quality fresh ingredients. The hunters chicken was just perfick! Heres my before and after pics.

A lovely fresh meal served by happy staff in a clean tidy warm pub, with friendly locals. Also a cracking game of skittles was had.. Thank you

Brilliant, friendly, good customer service, very helpful with disabled customers. Clean. Good toilets, not sure they have disabled.

Love this pub, nothing is too much trouble and Mack is amazing, good home cooked food. But book!

Great little pub with a fantastic atmosphere reasonably priced drinks and very tasty food. My partner is vegetarian and they had no issues whipping up what my partner described as a delicious veggie burger. Well worth a visit

What a lovely Inn. Excellent service, friendly, efficient and helpful staff. The carvery was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Would certainly recommend and will certainly go back again.

My wife and I first time visiting the Red Tile, and we were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. The food was off good quality and the portions were very generous. We will be returning again and I would recommend to all to enjoy an evening at the Red Tile.

Book your table if you want to try a great pub meal. Plenty of choice and guaranteed to be tasty and home cooked. Fresh food doesn't appear in a few minutes so enjoy a drink or 2 whilst you wait. It is a friendly pub and yes, we use it lots! Scampi or a steak or a home made curry there is something for everyone. If you can manage a dessert a slice of cheesecake is recommended. Have never left feeling hungry and heard many visitors complimenting the chef.

Visited this evening. 3 happy well fed people. Husbands beef and blue cheese burger was amazing. I think he had tears in his eyes when he thanked Mac. Me and daughter had veggie options. Really lovely food. Thank you Rachel and Mac

Went to the pub here for a lovely few drinks for my ex school friends wedding night - a regular called Mark gave myself a free lift home after finding that a taxi would cost around £70 for absolutely free. Please give this kind soul a free drink for his altruism!

Stayed here in Ruby our campervan on a britstop. Warm welcome, good selection of drinks, great meal and lovely nights sleep, would recommend. .

Excellent all round. This is a definite for when your on your travels. Great atmosphere with friendly hosts. It's a must and will definitely return.

We have been going to the red tile for a while now and I have to say we have never had a bad meal. The staff are so friendly and are always on hand if you need another drink etc. The chef has so many ideas of new deserts and we love trying the creations as they are always amazing.

Lovely, clean pub with a lot of charm with very friendly pub landlords. Great food with a fantastic deal (1 free drink with any meal) can't be beaten.

Stayed here last night, the food was excellent, spotlessly clean & made very welcome by the landlords. Peaceful nights sleep. Certainly recommend & look forward to returning.

Very friendly, great food ( the only place locally that I've found Tournedos Rossini one of my all time favourites). Loving it!

Arrived after a half an hour walk to find pub shut despite checking the website for opening hours first. One person opened the door of the games room and said "not today" and closed it again. Incredibly rude we won't be returning

The hearty portions, warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere. The whole group from 7 months to 70 had a lovely visit.

Good menu, food served quickly, very tasty and hot couldn't fault it, pub very busy so speaks for itself.
