The service was great and the it was good there be no smoking in the kids bit and there have a smoke bit for the smoking and the food was good and the cowboy burger was nice and the toilet was so nice and clean as well table service was great as well I have no issue with them
Arrived at 4pm to have an early carvery dinner. Most tables were reserved but found somewhere to sit easily. Ordered via the app at the table, drinks were served almost immediately and our food slips came just after. No queue for the carvery and there were three meats on offer, turkey, gammon or beef. With a yorkshire pudding, stuff & veg. What I would say was that the yorkshire was chewy so could have been fresher, the veg choices were peas, carrots, mashed swede, cauliflower cheese, mashed potato & roast potatoes. Personally I hate cauliflower so would have loved broccoli but for £9.99 we couldn't really grumble. Plenty of food, choice could have been wider but all in all a tasty meal.
Every time we come there a strong family feel and are always greeted with a friendly smile. The food is always lovely and whilst previously we have opted to alternate between copper beech and castle carvery to support both local businesses however we now choose to only support copper beech due to the quality of food and service. The carvery is always lovely and the veg and potatoes are fresh unlike their competitor. Nothing is to big or small copper beech. Another thing as a family we love is that if we choose some carvery and some main menu or from the kids menu, that staff will come and give us a warning when the meals are due to arrive at the table to allow those having a carvery to get their food so all food is at the table at the same time meaning it is like eating at home altogether at the same time

Music too loud so sat in quiet spot, and no we are not senior citizens yet, really enjoyed meal although the toppings on our mac cheese were too small, extra £1.50 for 2 V small strips was very meagre. Lovely people we are regular visitors.
Came in today again with daughter and we both wanted cake to take home ,she chose the choc cake as it has brownies round the top ,got it home and was very Dissapointing compared to normal,my carrot cake looks awesome but hers doesn't even have a brownie on it .and looks like it's had fingers pushed in it .our meals were lovely though
We came to eat on the way to the cinema and the food is normally good. I always have the chicken and bacon house salad as I’m dieting. Normally you get strips of nice chicken breast but this time it was pieces of chicken which looked like they came out of a packet from the supermarket. Processed and watery.
The atmosphere was great. The food came swiftly was piping hot and very delicious.
The drinks were great esp loved the cocktails.
You made my mums 70th Birthday meal awesome.
The staff were very accommodating and we could have a giggle with them all.

After having a bad carvery here a few weeks ago and leaving a bad review, the manger emailed me a free meal for 2. Today I decided to use this offer! Totally different experience, lovely girl behind the bar serving. Decided to have THE ULTIMATE SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN BURGER this time. It was really nice food so I thought it was only fair to write a positive review! Thankyou for the offer and changing my opinion
We had Chloe as a server she was very helpful we were celebrating my grandads birthday and she made it lovely definitely be back
Sotting outside in the sun, the food was very nice, superb service, everyone needs a Chloe in their workforce, she is a complete star!!
Very popular place which was a good sign for us as we had never been before and it always is a positive thing when you see a place bush it shows that it’s a great spot. Food was delicious, I had steak and it wasn’t dry or fatty, my partner had gammon and he was really happy with it as usually it’s tough. Service was quick and efficient despite the amount of tables being full. Staff were nice and friendly, prices for food was very reasonable.
Really surprised and disappointed that with the location on a retail site that primarily requires driving to, that there was only 1 offering of non-alcoholic lager/beer/stout available, being Becks Blue. No other choices and nothing on draught.
Generally visit for carvery and amazing cakes with family.
