Lovely atmosphere, and friendly staff. The food was fine, but pretty standard for pub food. Burger could've been a bit more juicy and needed a tad more burger sauce. The cauliflower wings were great though! We also tried the pizza which was amazingly fresh and tasty for a pub.
Staff and manager when out their way to ensure we have enough seating after we arrived with more than we booked. Really friendly and all made us feep welcome. Not often you see such brilliant service. 10/10
Great local pub for eats and drinks. Their menu has a wide range of food, including a very good choice of vegetarian and vegan meals. There is also a good choice of beers available to suit all tastes. Tell you what, if you like Rosé wine, try their Brightside White Zinfandel, it's gorgeous There ar
The staff were very helpful upon booking as we were booking for a large number of people and as we had young children with us they placed us in an area with plenty of shading as it was very hot that day and next to the playground which was very accommodating. The service whilst we were there was ver
We were greeted at the door. Shown to our table. The assistant couldn’t have been more polite. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The meal was lovely couldn’t fault it. The assistance were all very welcoming to us. All in all we had a lovely afternoon.
Booked a table for 3 today, service was excellent, food was piping hot and delicious, I brought my dog and the staff were so kind to her. We were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend.
Polite staff, greeted us promptly on arrival. Changed seat plan as we had a wheelchair user in the party and wasn’t adequate space on original table. This was done without any issue and was offered before we even pointed it out. Food was hot, delicious and plentiful.
Excellent service. Friendly and efficient staff. Wonderful food. The only issue we had was that it doesn't state on the menu that the pulled pork baguette has BBQ sauce on it. When we mentioned it to Chris he was very apologetic and offered to swap it for something else
Great friendly staff, good service and atmosphere. Sadly Marston's vegan options are appallingly limited. No longer do the plant based burger so it's either vegan pizza or too highly spiced chilli non carne or chips from the main menu. Such a shame as the pub is great otherwise.
Absolutely brilliant food, great service, was able to swap seats because the staff was amazing with support and let us move when my partner got anxious. Service was outstanding. Will definitely be going again very soon. 10/10
