Heard great things about this Village pub in Wolston, now under new management. We received a warm welcome by the new landlord as we arrived. The attentive staff took our drinks order straight away and showed us to our table. The pub has a lovely relaxed feel and is clean and fresh with some lovely
Ate here a number of times and popped in for drinks as we live in the next village . A warm friendly atmosphere with a great seletion of drinks . My wife loves the decor and says it feels so homely and warm . The staff are polite and talkative. Felt like we'd known them for years!

Sunday lunch cooked beautifully to a high standard. The beef was so tender. The desserts where few but of high quality and delicious. Will I eat there again of course.

Absolutely fantastic village pub food both looks great and tastes amazing, the half moon is starting to become my local stop after work and aswell as being full with great people it is welcoming and cosy.
We have had Sunday roast here about 4 times on the last couple of months..
