Have been using this establishment for many years. The quality and taste of the food on offer is consistently of a good standard.
This is always my go to takeaway whether it is to purchase food for me, family, friends and relatives.
Well worth a visit if you want to taste authentic Punjabi food!

Nice place. Went and bought Lamb, Chicken and Veg Samosas. Pastry is amazing, very nice and a great crunch to them. Veg had a lovely heat to them. Lamb and Chicken are somewhat lacking in flavour but overall still great and will try other menu options from here.

Tasty and authentic food, we ordered vegetable, lamb and chicken samosas, all of which were extremely tasty. Staff were super friendly and service was very quick! Would highly recommend :)

Always visit this place when I'm in Coventry. They do the BEST rasmali! Been using them as long as I can remember. They'd just had a refit so it looked fresh.

Coventry’s worst-kept secret Indian place. Standard are the OG - decent choice of North Indian dishes and snacks. The jalebis and samosas are excellent! Minus one star for how saucy my dishes were but hard to fault otherwise.

I've been using SSC pretty much since it opened in 1975/76 and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food, their prices and the friendly welcome I always get.
Definitely worthy of 5 Stars in my opinion.

Great place for Punjabi food and it's nice and spicy. Great family business.

By far the best samosas in town! The curry’s are lovely and they have the best range of Indian sweets! All packaged beautifully for a special occasion 🎂🥳💕 the management are really friendly and the prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend 😊

My favorite place in Coventry for veggie samosas, 5 stars from me!

So many negative reviews?! Probably paid reviews from rivals. This place has been around since the 70s or 80s. It's fantastic. Best Indian in town.

The best samosas I’ve eaten!

I used to live in easy walking distance to sweet corner and always had that wierd feeling that staff is some kind of retarted. Samosas are cheap and good.

Good cheap samosas, staff perhaps racist. I am a long term customer buying samosas which taste really good but there is a problem with the amount of sauce given with samosas which is not enough, I basically need to beg for sauce every time and especially when I am served by the old guy he is quite mean and perhaps he is racist as I saw he is giving more sauces to Indian people. The sauce should be priced so the customers could decide how much they want so they will not be judged and get the amount of sauce by race.
