If you're looking for a family atmosphere, or just something laid back with a nostalgic vibe this is a great place! I'd suggest going on an empty stomach if you want a meal and ice cream because the servings were plentiful. I did spend about $20 a person but keep in mind that we had a meal and dessert. If you have one or the other it would obviously cost less....and sometimes ice cream for dinner hits the spot, I'm just saying. I am on vacation and I can honestly say I have every intention of visiting again before I leave... which is a big deal for me because when I go on vacation I like to try as many different places as possible.... highly recommend!

The food was good, the poor waitress had a table with 7 kids and 3 adults. The another table and us. At this time there were at least 4-5 other employees just sitting around. She had to bus the tables too. Then all the kids got ice cream , she had to scoop the ice cream herself. It just seems there was no team work. It could have been a lot better with team work.

2023... take out Little difference between last year's visit. Newport Creamery Burgers weren't very good at all. Over cooked and sides, slaw was days old tasting, fries to go (difficulty keep hot). They messed up the order two no cheese, one with cheese. Nope... Could have been much cleaner than it was, several staff standing and talking. Tables and floors needed attention for new guests. In my opinion. More talking, and paying attention to the order would have been nice.... I will try again... But not pleased this year. 2022 Love the Newport Creamery style burgers, my favorite with their relish. So good we went back again the next day with my father. Who doesn't like ice cream? Great variety of flavors. Awesome ice cream floats. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Our servers both days were very friendly. Busy cleaning in between customers. I like clean places to dine.

Came here last night to sit in for dinner and I had really pleasant experience. I had the "Holy Cow" burger and the description said it was the best burger on the block so I had to try it. Came out hot, fresh, and the temperature came out perfect. 15 dollars and its the best bang for your buck in Coventry. The service was okay, the waitress forgot about us at one point. The place was clean and the overall staff was polite. The ice cream there isn't much to say that it's great as well. I would recommend coming here
