Only stopped for a drink, though a seemingly popular place for Sunday lunch. Small outside beer garden and a very small car park. Nice looking place

The Star has had a fresh make over with good furniture making it more accessible, fresh and light, very comfortable, new chef with a great menu, the food is amazing and reasonably priced, highly recommended this country village pub.

Stopped in here before our trip back to Gloucester for a drink,really friendly atmosphere and bar staff. My wife had orchard gold which was truly amazing. 5 star.

Had another fantastic Sunday lunch yesterday at 'the Star' in Wick. Always a great welcome, food was delicious. Dog is welcome in the bar and even given a treat. Can't wait to go again. So glad I booked as was very busy.

Visited last night for a bite to eat and a few beers. Had ham, egg, peas and chips. Absolutely delicious, the nicest ham ever. Was tempted to have dessert and had Emily's Brownie with salted caramel ice cream. That too was superb. A lovely pub with excellent real ale. Lovely pub, great atmosphere and always a friendly welcome.
