What a fabulous hidden gem in the heart of the village! The bistro has a fabulous range of gins and a regularly changing menu. A warm and friendly welcome awaited us at harlequin as we celebrated my birthday. The food was marvellous (every course). It was freshly cooked and plentiful. Cleanliness was second to none. There were hand sanitisers plus additional 'cleansing stations'.
We came hear as a group of eight walking the Penine Way and had great food - well cooked, hot and fresh and a good variety on the menu. Staff were friendly and helpful on a busy Friday night and I'd recommend this place to any hungry hiker for an evening meal.
