Wanted to come here for ages. The food is so so good. Especially recommend the battered mushroom!! The chips were gorgeous too. Only issue is it is cash only and the nearest cashpoint is the big tesco which is about a 10 minute walk.
God knows why this place is getting bad reviews, I couldn't fault it at all! Best fish & chips I've ever had and they cater to my Gluten & Dairy Intolerance with ease. Really friendly staff, super clean and always welcoming smiles in the shop. The prices have stayed low, too, despite the awful cost
I've always used Seawave chip shop. But they've been so unreliable with their opening hours. So I decided to try Ivan's chip shop. Food is way better and more tasty. Definitely found my new favourite chip shop. See you soon guys.
What a find!!!....stubled across this hidden gem, fish fried to order and as fresh as can be all for dirt cheap...sat in and was treated like royalty with the customer focused experience, they even threw in an extra fish due to saying 'one of the fish not that big so we have thrown in another one' f
Always super good value. Kebab is always cooked perfect for me, never under cooked. Specials are amazing for the price tbh the whole menu is very well priced. Staff are super friendly and everything is made fresh. Need to take card payments tho only moan ive got
Prices are reasonable, delivery was a little before they said it would be, food was really nice and the portions are good. The only little problem was the little amount of salad but the chicken meat was excellent and the sausage was really nice. Highly recommend this chippy over any other in the are
Huge variety on menu. Good traditional English chippy. Fish is fresh and chips are good. Friendly staff. Could have more homemade options.
Wasnt impressed with the food at all , large mixed kebab in a naan bread was about the size of a side plate hardly any filling & the meat was dry , the fish was ok cept for the skin off the fish spoilt the batter , the chips needed to be cooked a bit longer , sorry to say wont be using Ivans again

Fantastic gluten free fish and chips. Rare to find a chip shop accommodating of such strict requirements. Completely gluten free and coeliac friendly.
