Its a long time since I last ate here but thnkfully little has changed. As always the service was excellent, food was overall very good but price wise a lttle bit above average. Running throught the dishes we had:- Popadoms and pickle tray - the lime pickle was the best I have had anywhere however the onion salad was a bit chunky making it difficult to keep on the popadom, Onion Bhaji - crisp and fluffy really well presented but taste wise a bit bland. Chicken Tikka Karai - excellent the best I have ever eaten. Tikka Lamb Balti - good taste and quality Lamb but the pool of oil in the dish was a bit off putting.

It was a lunch time so hardly an atmosphere. The food was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much. Only gripe from my friend was no where near enough praws on the prawn cocktail starter. I agreed with her

Elite tier Indian restaurant. I've never had a bad meal. Friendly staff, comprehensive menu. Recommend the tikka masala, amlee chicken, dupiaza and bandook (beware the heat of the bandook!)

First visit to restaurant and the food was nice..not great. I had onion bhajis starters which were just warm and I was surprised, came served without any salad. I am not used to that. I had veggie biryani for main which was again nice but the sauce was milder than expected. I asked to take a bag back home and was given the foil trays to fill myself..oh well! I base my thoughts on the services I have received in the many indian restaurants in my home town of South Shields which is well known for this type of cuisine. I am now a resident of Cramlington and am happy to say I would return but I feel the food and service could be improved.

We decided to have a takeaway tonight. Arrived to collect at the appointed time and were greeted with smiles and courtesy. Food was ready in minutes and was hot and so tasty. Thank you so much for a fantastic meal.

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the only reason that it doesn't get 5 stars for the food is the keema naan was devoid of keema! On the whole it was the most enjoyable Indian food I have eaten. The restaurant was very busy, I would recommend booking especially on a Thursday as it has the special deal available for £16.95 making it more attractive.
