Absolutely great!!! My friend and I just about made it to the tea room at 4pm last Wednesday whilst out on our mountain bike ride. We were pretty wet and cold and were welcomed by all the staff for a delicious meal. Toasted panini, mac cheese, coffee & cake - all excellent. My friend commented that this was one of the best tea rooms we’ve been too - and we’ve visited sooo many around the country! Well done guys and thank you again for getting 2 cold and soggy cyclists back on their feet! Really look forward to returning.

My husband,my daughter and I went there for cakes and drinks. Coffee and walnut cake was excellent. Very moist. Vanilla milkshake was my 7 year old daughters favourite. What a beautiful place to stop by.

Quirky, full of history and old fashioned service and the MOST amazing chocolate gluten free brownies at a very reasonable price. Lovely outdoor eating area and although the decor and appearance suggest that it is a bit fuddy duddy this is not the case. Hall marks of the most up to date places these days are comprehensive breakfast menu - TICK, gluten free options - BUCKET LOADS and personal service - IN SPADES. It is possible that they have wifi too but I didnt ask just enjoyed the history snippets on the wall and some people watching :-)
