We happen to be in a B&B within a short distance from the the Crown Inn so booked dinner for two nights. What a refreshing change to have a pub that you can really relax in. It has a great atmosphere with lots of friendly local’s who are proud to be a part of this jewel . It’s all down to the wonder
Absolutely fantastic drinks and meal this evening … the local beer was spot on, the veg and fish dishes were superb, dessert of white chocolate cheesecake was terrific. Do not pass this place without stopping and spending … you won’t regret it.

Love this little place. Great food, really well cooked & served. Staff are outstanding and do everything they can to look after you. Dog friendly as well so don't be afraid of bringing the pooches.
Always stop off here for a drink or bite to eat ( if not already booked up) after walking in this scenic area.

Lovely village pub, great cask ales, beautifully kept and some amazing bar snacks. We tried the Black pudding scotch eggs, pork pies and salami and all three were superb.
Went here for Sunday lunch. The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming even though it was our first visit. Lunch was probably among the best we have ever had. Good selection of real ales. It is a lovely pub with a great atmosphere and obviously popular with the locals. We will be back!!
