Lovely traditional country pub serving fantastic food at great prices, served by friendly, helpful staff. Decent choice of cask ales as well. Try the Pie Dinner! Lovely views from the garden out front.
Wonderful service in this lovely little pub. Food was reasonably priced I loved the gammon ham egg and chips, and the team worked hard to cater for our large party. Good beers too
Enjoyed lunch outside - veggie burger and panini. Friendly service. The dog loved her doggy ice cream.
We booked just 3 days before for 15 people for Sunday lunch, and had such a wonderfully easy experience! Jacqui was very accommodating even with some last minute changes. The food was lovely, we all left very full and feeling very much welcomed to the area! 10/10 would recommend.
Absolutely amazing. Service, atmosphere and food. Me and partner visited here whilst away for our anniversary and customer service over the phone was great and got even better when we arrived. The sirloin steak with garlic butter is 5***
Simply the friendliest, and fairly priced pub, with exceptionally high food standards. You get more than what you pay for, with Amy and the amazing staff.
Had a lovely meal here and was only a short walk from where we were staying. Straight away you could tell the staff where lovely and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was great, much more than we were expecting (as the menu didn't give away much during Covid times) but
What a pub! Loved the place! We attempted to get a table for food on a Friday however did not book ahead (recommended) so they could not accommodate us that night. We booked in for the following night and were not disappointed. Food was great, and not expensive. The service was exceptional, really f
Big very traditional country pub with a car park more likely to be filled with old Daihatsu Fourtracks and tractors than the latest BMW X5s. But if you want to get the feel for an area then this will do it. Good range of beers, friendly bar staff and locals.
Nice local pub, good chips, friendly staff and plenty of parking. Dogs are welcomed which is great.
Great food, really welcoming staff (especially Amy). We have been staying in a holiday cottage nearby and have eaten here most days. Everything from the curry to the Sunday roast has been cooked to perfection. Lovely pub with pool, darts, dog friendly and great views of the lovely area. Def recommen
Excellent meals. Friendly staff. Loved it. Thank you.
Coming alive after the crisis, not ready for food just yet but gearing up for a full return with a Hog roast looming on the 20th August. Kelly was very pleasant and worked hard running the pub. Really looking forward to the restaurant service returning
Lovely warm welcome. Our first choice of meal was unavailable due to a busy few days. We were not disappointed with out second choice. We took a child who had Sunday roast,he ate it all a generous helping indeed. Good value quality good, very friendly attentive staff.
We enjoyed a fantastic meal here last night. The best steak I ever had and my husband asurred me that his salmon dish was delicious too. Great atmosphere and service and we'll definitely return if we are in the area again.
Amazing food, I had pie of the day it was the best pie I have ever had.
Great pub with very good food and a good selection of local ales. Very friendly landlady doing a great job during these difficult covid times. We ate inside the pub and felt very safe. If you are still nervous about a pub lunch give them a go. Good distancing in place a hand sanitiser everywhere.
We visited on a wet and windy Thursday evening and got a very warm welcome from everyone in the pub, including regulars. Atmosphere was lovely. We were asked for our drinks order and shown to our table. Menu has something for everyone, Everything about our visit was great, will certainly drop in aga
