Great atmosphere, friendly locals, a spectacular beer garden
Just a short visit as we were doing a day's tour of Shropshire. A very well kept pub, with a selection of ales. Very friendly owners who made our party very welcome.
Stunning food and great friendly staff. Called last minute for a table and went out of their way to accommodate us even though they were fully booked. Food was beautiful as well. We will definitely be back.
Very lucky find for refreshment along the journey to the Brecon Beacons. Lovely people great food and beer with a sunny beer garden

We visited on a Friday night whilst staying at a nearby campsite. The Kangaroo has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and everyone (staff and locals) were so friendly and great company. It was fish and chip night; we had a very generous portion which tasted lovely. Reasonable pricing too. Super friendly

A proper country pub with wood fire and cosy atmosphere. This was the only pub within walking distance of our accommodation and it didn’t let us down.
