Just 2 of us for dinner, we chose to go for the £16.95 3 course menu. Fab menu with loads to choose from. Food was excellent and portion sizes were great. There was also a great specials board that made choosing what to eat very hard.
Would definitely recommend and if we are ever back in the area would certainly go back. Service was really good and enjoyed the complimentary Limoncello at the end. The small touches make the biggest difference.
We've been here lots of times and I can honestly say we have never experienced anything but great food and wonderful customer service in an authentic and bustling family run restaurant. We are so.lucky to have Dal.Nonno in our village and I would recommend it whole heartedly
A fantastic evening for our Anniversary yesterday and another memorable meal at this outstanding Italian restaurant. Always guaranteed excellent food, wine, superb service and above all the great atmosphere. Deserves to be a top rated venue...the passion of the family behind Dal Nonno shines through each time we visit. 10 out of 10!!

What a great restaurant!! To get great good and a great atmosphere and great service all under one roof does not come easy, but this place makes it all look effortless. A menu that just wanted me to book again to try all the dishes that look so great!! All you have to do is look around and all the people in the restaurant they all have smiles on their faces, after eating I know why!! I was driving when we went, next time I'm all over the wine!!!! Thanks for the evening and thanks for treating my mum so well on for her birthday, she loved it!!

Just don't have a bad word to say about this place! Friday and Saturday nights it's always full, plenty off atmosphere, great great food, good choice of drink and authentic Italian staff who cannot do enough for you. Just make sure you book!
An absolute gem of a place!! Authentic, tasty food, friendly staff who gave superb service and reasonably priced. It has such a lovely bustling atmosphere which made me smile from the minute we walked through the door. �

We had a table for 7 and had an absolutely fantastic evening. The staff are fantastic they couldn’t do enough for you and they didn’t seem to stop all night
The prices I thought were very good for what you get and the food was a pleasure to eat
Even though the restaurant was packed the food came out at a reasonable pace
All I can say is go try this little piece of Italy you won’t be disappointed.

Our wonderful friends took us to this fantastic gem it was as if we were in Sorrento having dinner food authentic Italian not tempered to English tastes .Savoured every mouthful loved the ambiance just a shame it's a five half hour drive for us or we would be there regular (a real treat) will return and when I yearn to be in Italy I will think of Dal Nonno love love love it xxx

Very nice traditional Italian restaurant. Inside is a lovely setting with paintings on the walls. Staff are very friendly and informative of the food options. Food was very nice and hot. Had a lovely round table by the window. Thankyou
This place is definitely a hidden gem. The food was fantastic with large portions and cooked perfectly. It was a family ran restaurant, and they were so nice that it made us feel at ease. I never knew it existed until it was recommended, but I'm definitely making this my new Italian go-to place.
I am going to make a point of thanking our friend who recommended the Dal Nonno to me. Service and staff cannot be faulted, a very good menu with a varied specials selection but most of all the food tasted amazing. Already looking forward visiting again.
Fantastic Italian hidden in Crawly Down. 1st visit and loved everything about it. Wonderful meal, wonderful company, wonderful restaurant and staff. Defo going back.
What a fantastic restaurant.... Not the 1st time I've eaten there, but the 1st time I've done a review.... Great basic menu, genuine 'specials' board with a real and creative variation in choice.
Service levels are without fault... Nothings a problem... Prompt and efficient service, but not at all rushed.

Since posting this review the owner of Dal Nonno has been in touch with an appology and explaining that he had issues with staff sickness that contributed to the administration error. In addition to.this we have been invited back with a generous voucher.
As you can see from my star ratings above it was only the service that was poor which under the circumstances i am now aware of is quite understandable. With this in view i am now happy to give a 5 star review for service as well as for the food and atmosphere.
Dal Nonnos remains a favourite place for us especially because Sebs Nonno was Italian.
We look forward to seeing you again for some more fantastic dinning in this genuinely Italian restaurant.

This has been a favourite restaurant of my son for some time now so much so he decided to have his 18th birthday family meal here. I booked the table and made it clear it was for an 18th birthday celebration this message clearly did not get the attention this special birthday deserved. 2 other customers had birthdays and a huge fuss was made. You can imagine how he felt when his special celebration was ignored/forgotten or missed. I am so upset not angry upset. I am would say we will not be back apart from the fact that usually we love this place.

My wife, daughter and I visited Dal Nonnos for the first time. I can happily say we will definitely return. The food is lovely and the staff are fantastic. I really enjoyed the visit. Its nicely decorated and has a cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Choose this restaurant purely for convenience as it's very local, but found a real gem of a place. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, delicious food and all for a good price! I'll definitely be returning soon 😋
Had a delicious dinner, was amazed to find stuffed zucchini flower available as a starter which was fab. Chef went round all tables to check everyone was enjoying their meals which shows the love and care they put into the food they cook.
Friendly service backed up with a good atmosphere in nice surroundings. The staff were very welcoming and the food did not disappoint. We had a lovely evening in their company.

Really stellar place to eat. We got take out pizza and dessert but I would love to come back here to eat as the atmosphere is so chill and quaint. The staff seem happy to make alterations to menu items as well which was really nice of them. I had a pizza with artichokes olives and Parma ham which was delicious. The only critique I'd have is the Parma ham could be cut up on the pizza so it doesn't drag the whole slice off when eating 😅. Dessert is a must here. Try the tirimisu!
