From the outside at least, Giraffe has all the charm (and appearance) of a children's creche or a kids birthday party venue - but arriving at Gatwick Airport at 8pm you're not met with a lot of choice. It was either this or Wetherspoons. From the outside, Giraffe looked like the least worst.
We'd had a longish journey, checked into the Bloc Hotel at the airport and needed to eat something.
Once inside though, the staff are polite, efficient and helpful, the place is reasonably clean and the food was much better than I'd been expecting. It was a pleasant surprise.

Lots of options from different types of cuisine.
The Argentine ribs are really good. Topped with a superb chimichurri sauce. All dishes in our party were well prepared and presented. Warm friendly service to boot.

We recently had food here at Gatwick airport the food was nice service was good but like most airport restaurants well overpriced but it is what it is 🙄 but I would recommend this place if you happen to be at the airport. I think our meals came to around £50 with drinks ( see pics )

A new experience for me and my wife. I’ve seen the Giraffe franchise in many cities I’ve visited but never actually tasted the food or had an experience.
We were at Gatwick airport and had an option of Giraffe or Wetherspoon’s and we chose Giraffe. I was very, very surprised to say the least.
We were welcomed in by the representative, even as we were viewing the menu outside. He was pleasant, polite and welcoming.
We were seated at a table for 2.
Our drinks order was taken and a colleague returned to take our food order.
The Strawberry Daiquiri was beautiful as my chosen drink option. I then chose the Korean Chicken with fries, as something new for me. I was absolutely blown away. The Korean Chicken was incredible. I would definitely return, and I’d definitely recommend Giraffe if your in the area. The customer service is fantastic, the food is beautiful and the ambiance is welcoming and warm.
💯% worth the trip.
Thank you for my first Giraffe experience 💫

Basic, but fine. Ate a meal here today whilst staying at an airport hotel. If you’re staying in the terminal, this is really your only option apart from Whetherspoons.
Service was surprisingly good and very friendly. Food was served quickly. Not amazing, but not terrible.
If you are staying in the Bloc hotel, ask for the discounted ‘Bloc menu’. Most of the same options and meant I got a £7 discount on my bill.

Good food, good service. I had a classic burger which I enjoyed but added a bit of hot sauce to it for a bit more zing. When you’re paying the bill, they give you the option to pick between a service charge or tip. It’s a good place to grab a quick bite before your flight if necessary.

This place is underrated! If you have time when you’re at Gatwick, eat here. The service was equally great and the food, sauces, and drinks were delectable. I will return during my next trip.

Nice relaxed atmostphere. Server really friendly and efficiently enjoyed nachos and main courses only comment to the negative is the volume of bbq sauce on burger, however i scraped it off and enjoyed the burger

Quick and efficient service obviously geared to those with a flight to catch. Food was very tasty and a reasonable selection of beers.

Fast, friendly, and helpful service. Excellently prepared, well seasoned dishes. Far more than I expected at the airport. Would gladly visit again when passing through.

Service was quick and the server was very helpful and informative. Substitutions were explained as there were no noodles which was fine. I had the Katsu Curry which was nice, but the chicken was a little greasy for my taste. Would go back again.

Arrive her and had an hour to kill before the train departure time. Service was very prompt, food took a little while but was worth the wait. The server was very polite and explained that the dish I chose was spiced. BBQ Beef Hash with Avocado.

A few steps from Bloc in South Terminal. Staff were very friendly. I had Korean barbecue chicken wings, which were good, and Mexican street food corn ribs, which were a revelation! My new favourite small plate. Recommended when you're in South Terminal.

Good place to grab a bite before or after your flight. We had their breakfast and food was very good and affordable

Had some food here whilst waiting for my friend to land,
Really good burger I had honestly can't remember what it is called but chicken was juicy and it had bacon and onion rings with some bbq and mayo for the mix.
The strawberry daiquiri was refreshing but a little to heavy on the rum for my liking, when having a fruity drink I do like to taste it not just the alcohol.
The 3 scoop ice cream was actually really nice, firm and also soft to the point that the spoon just glides across it was just bliss when the ice cream hit my tounge.
Only down side was when I was trying to pay I could see that the staff where busy but I asked one person if I could and it took a good 10 minutes to pay for my food so I could leave.
Was lucky I was still waiting a little for my friends airplane to land aha.
