Great local pub. Excellent selection of beers and ciders. The Brewery Shades deserves a visit.
I didn't meet the famous ghosts, but I saw plenty of skeletons on this visit to the lovely Brewery Shades... This time of year, the large outside seating area on the Broadwalk (normally such a good place to watch the sights and sounds of Crawley!) is closed, but the inside is great as always. Lots
Beautiful old pub with history dating back to the 1400's. The Sunday roasts are amazing, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable.
Really nice pub, family lunch out . Kids meals were perfect . Adults were cold , notified staff who took food back . However the same food (chilli and chips) came back and had been microwaved which made the chips soggy . Chilli was nice tho
Really welcoming place with lovely staff. The roast was really good, served nice and hot and plenty of gravy (normally have to ask for more!). Definitely recommend!
I had fish & chips. The fish was a very large fillet, cooked with a lovely crispy batter. The frys were the expected chunky frys that sells everywhere now, so no complaints there either
Awesome pub food here. The best roast dinners you’ll find anywhere and served every day. Their roast sandwiches are also cool, coming with roast potatoes and gravy to dip them in.
